Manager Mauricio Pochettino

Roy Hodgson slams Mauricio Pochettino critics in rant involving Rotherham and Man Utd

Any halfwits who still don't quite grasp it, please read a few of Hogdsons comments. As he said, if a trophy makes you a success as a manager and only a trophy, around 98% of football managers are shit.

Wake up a little bit regarding Pochettino & ENIC, as a unit they've done what no other club in country that wasn't already a big player or had money pumped into them has been able to do

Back off JT.
She's mine.
I've been working this angle for years...

Where's Sir Bill? Either way with managers like Gerry Francis, Christian Gross, ducking Jacques Santini & poor old Juande everything is rosy looking upward for a change. Those who chose to not enjoy it well I pity you when the cycle stops and it's shit all over again.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino suggests stadium move has hindered trophy chances

Poch makes some great comments on the above link about where we were, where we are, the challenges we have been faced with, the competition we've had and why people need to get a grip. Touted for 6th place finishes year on year yet getting well into the Champions League places & comfortably as well is better than any of us could and should have hoped for until the next phase is complete. Lucky to have him
That semi final with manure was totally winnable, payingp at Wembley as a neutral ground and with no world cup fatigue to blame. It was down to the players and they flopped

Eriksen and Alderweireld left at home. Vertonghen being the centre half taken off and Wanyama on instead of Winks when losing 2-0 should tell you all you need to know about where Poch feels our priorities lie.

It was totally winnable agreed but we weren't favourites so I don't see how people can sulk about it.

Even though they've had a bad spell they still have the likes of De Gea, Rashford, Martial, Sanchez, Pogba etc all top, top players.

The team didn't show up that day, I think the pressure of almost winning it does effect the players especially with how long it's been but alas it wasn't to be, their experience in such situations saw them through in the end similarly to Juve in the Champions League

Pochettino on Wednesday: "I saw Liverpool is now in Dubai and all the pundits say Liverpool have the best squad with Manchester City, but we are the ones still involved in four competitions."

People talk too much.

Seriously just how thick are you?
Your serious !!!!

I though you were joking.

I ask you to post a LINK to one of your posts praising Poch unequivocally etc. etc.etc.
You are either unable or unwilling to do this.

Instead you refer to a post you made after we started this debate.

Please tell me you're not thick enough to actually believe that this pathetic attempt to hoodwink* the members of this forum would work !!!!

HOODwink : I wonder what we can deduce from that.

Edit: I've just seen your in the bin again.

I know you've had your fallings out with him mate as have i, his relentless negativity about our manager is enough to give anyone the hump but i really don't see what he's done to be voted into the bin again. This place is toxic at the moment, a few years on here has been a real eye opener.

Yeah, it has become toxic.
It's not only his relentless negativity, it's his lack of joy, excitement etc about Spurs.
If you go to the Cheski 2nd leg thread and compare the passion and joy of the posts, when Llorente scored, to his post on the goal, it really is shocking.
I think that his hatred of Poch has made it that he actually wants us to fail in the cup competitions so that Poch would be sacked.

I don't know what he's done this time to be binned as I haven't been on here since Sat afternoon.
I presume it's the same boring repetitive negative shit that as you say will give anyone the hump.

Oh dear...

Let’s get Jose in, will win Mickey and FA Cup all whilst playing anti football and pissing our best players off in the process.

I follow Ergo on twitter, and he's having a 'mare this evening (couple of drinks down the hatch perhaps?)

He seems to be interpreting the game/lineup as if Poch's hand wasn't forced by our injury crisis. Will regret some of these tweets in the morning.

He does need to force levys hand imo..but I don't think he Will, I think he will just leave in the summer and send us back into the usual old spurs..and still stuck with scrooge mcduck in charge.......
