Mauricio Pochettino says he wants to return to #Tottenham:
"To be honest, the day that I left the club, I always thought that one day I would come back. I was thinking before the US national team, I was thinking to come back, since I left, I was thinking I would love to come back to Tottenham.

The obsession with us by him is weird. Notice he came out with this before last night's game, when he probably smelt blood if Ange lost/was sacked. Which I feel was the move of a wanker.
Best Spurs manager in decades. even in his little dry patch he was a million miles ahead of the turds Ange puts out every week. From competing for the PL to becoming the new Stoke under Ange.
He isnt fit to tie Pochettinos laces and no amount of protesting and history changing from Levy loyalists will change the fact that Levy completely fucked up getting rid of the golden goose Pochettino and wasting 5 years slowly but surely turning us from a genuine foundational top 4 club to battling it out near relegation, not to mention the millions wasted in the process.
Congratulations chungus, real big brain stuff. Next time you get bored and get big brain ideas to sack our best manager and replace him with Mourinho for an amazon prime sketch, just go kick some rocks and take a walk around the block instead.

Poch revolutionised us on every aspect. We were the benchmark for other clubs. The united speculation the media tried to engineer probably pissed levy off. We even had to have a bloke next to poch st press conferences asking press to refrain asking about man utd. Poch was tempted imo and that fergie dinner in london was the catalyst. Imo levy probably thought fuck backing you if you're going to united.
I think it was more to do with Poch checking out before, during, and after the CL final.
Hes not that type of bloke imo. Too polite for own good. Read his book and espanyol he did wonders there but got hung out to dry. Happened at Tottenham imo.
lets not forget that in Pochs “terrible” CL final season, we finished 4th. Not exactly checking out. Ange could only dream of a season like Pochs last full season.
Poch then begged multiple times in the summer for new players. We went out and got ndombele and fucking ryan sessengnon. 2 months later Poch was sacked into a new season. Go figure.
As a businessman, would it not have been more wise and risk free to back the manager who had given us an extremely high level of football consistently for years, got us CL final money and put our name on the map as a genuine big european club… or rip the entire script up, invest nothing and simply get a household name mourinho in an amazon prime money spin deal.

Him doing this reminds me of him opening the kimono towards ManUre and Madrid back in the day.
