Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The Lamela Puskas winning goal is another classic from Tyler = in a flat voice "It's Lamela, it's gone in". Followed up with "it's just trundled in" from Alan Smith on co-comms.

How Peter Dury isn't the main commentator for football matches on the country's largest PL broadcaster I will never know! The only downside is you have to also endure the oppo goal score against you because he'll be describing that brilliantly too. But IMO he's the best English football commentator bar none.

Couldn't be bothered to highlight anything in particular but has anybody noticed how triggered us thumping the foxes made the media?

If that were a red shirt team or even City they'd be wanking themselves into a lather with that score line. I have a feeling no matter the result of the arse match they've already written their match report/talking points.

I love it. The media calling saying about us what they say about the goons or City would be weird.

To be fair at least he appears to have some honour. He quit as Burton boss today with them rock bottom of the table. Didn't wait for the sack to collect his contract payout. Fair play. You don't see that very often at all.

But yeah, shit prediction when you think we've lost 2 of our last 20 league games.
How much would that payout be ? I’d imagine very little in percentage terms of his overall wealth

If his payoff was 5m I’d suggest that would challenge his integrity

Interesting points of view, though I seem to remember the reaction of showboating from pundits after Richy did it against Forest...
Even Osama Bin Laden and Jhihadi John got a smoother ride from the media than they gave to Richjihadi bin Laaaaaaden!!

I LOVE that all these types of stories surface the MOMENT we're having a sticky patch....
It's like the algorithm is set at "2 defeats/3 games without a win" before they unleash the beast!

It's probably all 99.9% bullshit, but it reeks of playground bully to pick on the kid who's having a tough time at the moment....

Don't see any Gooners being touted off to Real/Münich at the moment....

(Although Haaland is widely presumed to already be on Real's radar, due to the fact THAT'S the way football works right now....)

It's short-termism of the lowest order!

Richy = outrage
v
Anthony showboating = cute.

I dunno what media coverage you guys are seeing. I saw the commentator call him embarrassing and several pundits call him a clown/idiot & several other nasty things.

Paul Scholes tore him the fuck apart. The idea that people criticised Richarlison just because he plays for Spurs is ludicrous. English pundits hate flair.

Any type of skill is looked down upon in England, all they care about is work rate. It's no surprise that the premier league hasnt produced any all time greats.

The criticism of Richy was way more widespread and unanimous...... The mount of criticism of Antony has been minor by comparison.

Whether that's Anit-Spurs or Pro-United is it's own discussion.

Is it either of those or is it because one happened in a premier league match and the other in a Europa League game vs nobodies?

And even then it’s huge news. Numerous articles, pundits frothing at the mouth with knives out ready. I see very little difference if I’m honest.

We get extra stick because we pretend we are a big team yet repeatedly embarrass ourselves in ways that other big teams don’t.

Is it now 8 FA Cup semis in a row that we’ve lost? How many years since we beat Woolwich away? How many seconds on the clock before we lost the CL final? We lost to Mura, the worst ranked team in UEFA last season.

We will continue to get patronised by the media until we get serious and win something. Having a nice stadium doesn’t meant you deserve sporting respect. Would anyone really be surprised if we cock it up against Marseille tomorrow?

Are you saying Liverpool, United and the Gooners haven't embarassed themselves lately? My guess is that Spurs hate generate clicks/traffic, while "disrespecting" the other "big" clubs leads to boycott and death threats on twitter.
