Player Micky van de Ven

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

You’re the one that can’t seem to grasp what’s being said re recruitment and correct player attitude in relatively straight forward language, so what’s the point debating it further?!

It’s clearly more about the argument with you and I REALLY can’t be bothered with it. I’m having an ignore holiday from your nonsense! 😂

But I've rebutted what you've said already, both nonsense takes which have no value - you're right there's no point debating it further because you have nothing you can come back with.

I want to argue yet I the first thing I said to you is that I didn't want to respond because you're a shithouse and you have continually continued to bait so...

Something isn’t right with all the injuries we’re experiencing.

I thought the medical team had been completely overhauled in the summer?
I thought so too.

I think the problem lies as much in the due diligence of injury history. Maddison, Udogie, Kudus, Bentancur, Richarlison, Odobert all seem very prone to injury.

Was Kulusevski just a freak event?

Then players like Porro get overplayed and burned out covering for the absentees.

Amazing that Van Der Ven isn't injured at the moment actually.

Someone was always going to put a jinx on it. Well done!

1. Some are just busted or injury prone players who are unfortunately key members. Bentancur, maddison, udogie, richarlison, bergvall , solanke , VDV

2.Overplaying Kudus and porro (Thomas Frank)

3.Absolute freak Injuries, dragusin, kulusevski, odobert, Danso, Davies

Nothing to done about point 3, just pure bad luck. Point 1 can be fixed by shifting a few of them and replacing with more robust players with good injury history
Having good enough like for players so they never play 2 games per week

Was only a matter of time with Kudus and porro with Frank flogging them in all 4 competitions because the right side was his entire tactic.

Tldr
Better recruitment, better game time management

Lol. I was about to say.

A new addition to physio room soon then.

If we didn’t have VdV, we’d already be relegated. He’s gotten us more points than just about anyone.

Our forward line is anemic, the midfield is bland, and the outside backs are injured. And his CB partner is suspended again while the backup is injured.

Don’t know what you expect? 2nd leading scorer in the PL. 2nd leading scorer in the CL. As a CB.

He’s not unsellable for the right price, but he’s one of the best players we have right now.
The fuck is an outside back

People really watched that HOS Dragusin performance on Sunday and really think we are better off with players like him because 'they put in more effort' hilarious

Our clueless fans really take offence to players having some ambition and wanting the club to sort itself out and wonder why they become dissalousioned in the first place. VdV no different.

It's funny people were praising him a few months ago while Romero was the one who was clearly checked out and VdV seemed like the one putting the effort in, now Mickey has caught the disease it seems like he's the scapegoat now.

Neither of these players play and we'd be rock bottom of this league.

Dragusin is not good enough but neither is Romero.

Both are not fit for purpose for different reasons.

Spurs should make Kevin Danso first choice in my opinion. Romero should only get back in if Danso is injured.

Romero needs to respect Spurs and take responsibility if we win lose or draw.

What is there for Romero to respect?

Clearly repeatedly lied to by the ownership around improving the squad and challenging.
He's had to play alongside absolute dross for most of his time here.
I dont get why people expect Romero to be the one entity within the club that should care.
Romero "showing respect" might sound like a nice thing to say but it's just not how the world works.
You cannot separate the man from the culture over a long enough time horizon.

You start a new job with energy and the best intentions but get stuffed on bonuses two years on the bounce and are still being managed by buffoons your standards start to drop and fall in line with those around you.

Your only option at that point is to leave which I imagine is what Romero and VDV are working on now.

Romero will likely be joining PSG or another club that is actually serious about winning things. But yeah, at Spurs, HE'S the problem 🙄

I disagree.

If you sign a contract you have to take responsibility. Especially if you are the club captain.

This player is unprofessional and disrespectful to THFC by his own choices and actions; over a sustained period of time.

He is / has been part of the problem @ Spurs.

Would you sign a contract for Daniel Levy and ENIC and then pretend to be surprised if things didn't go the way you were told?

The real shame here is that VDV has become part of the mutiny led by the likes of Romero, Vicario and Porro.

Spurs are more important than ENIC, Levy and any player.

The minimum I expect, as a supporter, is for a player to be available and willing to play for THFC; always give nothing less than 100% in every game.

Romero has set this squad a shocking example and was a poor choice as captain.
