It's very early into the season still, but I think he has skipped like 1 -totally insignificant- game against Doncaster so far.

Seeing him only under 1 manager not known for his ability to take care of his players to say the least, it wasn't easy to locate the source of his health issues.

So far so good.

All the players have seemed to be healthier under Frank and the new medical team. Since they replaced both around the same time, it's unfortunately difficult to say which one was the problem if any. With Ange's seeming injury issues already over at Forest though, it seems safe to say he had at least some hand in it. Glad for Mickey he's been able to find good fitness again.

Although I'm reasonably confident that Ange played a nonnegligible part in last year's injury crisis, this was the match squad that we were able to have this time last year.

Wheels started falling off a month or so later IIRC, so the jury is definitely out when it comes to both VdV in particular and the squad in general.

I agree VdV should be handled with kid gloves by Frank, at least until he proves he can stay fit for an extended time.
