The atmosphere is dead almost from the start. And you really think booing helps?
Our fans have been paying top dollar for a prime cut of Angus beef for years. Only thing is, said piece of meat never got delivered and we've been served shitty, outdated Spam from the poundshop instead...despite management telling us on many an occasion that they'd heard our complaints and would improve ten fold asap. You know the rest of that story.

The cheek on those fucking Spurs fans to moan and boo.

Back when Jaynola was playing he welcomed the boos - he fed off them. They drove him onto even greater heights of sporting prowess until those booing him were so thrilled by his exquisite skills and hard-nosed defensive pragmatism they lifted him onto their shoulders, chanting his name in adoration. 😍

Honestly, whatever you think of booing your own team.. You'd think Spurs fans were the only ones to do it., We aren't.. It's modern football culture nowadays for the crowd to reflexively boo their team at the end of a defeat. I maybe don't like how ubiquitious it is. But it's how it is.

Crystal Palace supporters.. Who are seeing the most glorious period in their history, have booed at the end of a home defeat. I see no other premier league teams in revolt against their own fans.. They just get on with it..

So when we see a Spurs team who for the last 14 months at least has been the worst performing Spurs side in many of our living memories.. Booing, in the modern football climate cannot be a shock to them. Surely.

We are going to lose Mickey.

I've already come to terms with it.

He has my blessing to go and have a proper football career at a proper football club.

Mickey, Spence, Kudus, Bergvall and Palhinha are the only players in this team I have any hopes for tbh.

Mickey will have to wait too long for this mess to get sorted out so we may as well accept he will leave.

Just sell him if he wants to go in the summer, get someone else, it's no big deal IMO. There's 13 other teams in the Premier League who don't have Micky VdV that are doing better than THFC. Same goes for the rest of the players.

Oh well.

Let's get a good price for him.

Joking aside I do believe that to change the current culture we may have to burn everything we have down.

I was laughed at when I suggested Spence as captain but for me he is the only player in this Spurs team who has shown a desire to win his own personal battles, 1v1, game to game, same / similar level of performance, despite being played out of position.

He has literally had to fight his way into this team and did well enough to get into the national team of the back of playing, out of position, in a pretty terrible Tottenham team.

How anyone could laugh at Spence as captain but accept Cuti Romero's behaviour is beyond me.

I wonder what the likes of Tel, Odebert, Sarr, Kudus, Gray and Bergvall would think about Spence as captain?

Do you see what I am saying?

only way he might stay is if there's a takeover......thats our only hope of anything now it seems. cant see how enic get out of this situation.

Whilst he’s here, let’s change how we use him. Been mentioned on this thread a few times to stick him at left back and it’s an idea I’m well behind. Plays there for his national team, has the pace and is a big handy bastard, which some teams are finding is a route to success.

I'll come back on this but I completely disagree on Spence as a possible captain.

Takeover or not, sell him.

Again, we are putting players on pedestals.
then we have the job of replacing him, we aint going to get anyone as good. footballs short on quality as it is.

i hear what youre saying, but we arent really in the position to start losing our best players, we have a squad packed of mid table shite, losing our best players is going to drag us into a relegation fight.

worrying times, 9 days into an important window and we have signed one LB kid. this toxic mess wont clear unless something major happens.
