It was unlucky that Bentancur, Skipp and Lucas were out because we had very little energy in the squad tonight but there’s no excusing the performance and sluggish use of subs by Conte. Bergwijn should have been on much earlier and I refuse to believe Harvey White could have played worse than Hojbjerg.
During this thread I err... blamed individual players.
I know Conte does not have many options to change the starting team but just to keep repeating the same team against different style opponents is not very encouraging.
