Unlikely - he signed a pro contract in early August 2024, so if it were just to encourage him to sign a new contract he wouln't have played much this season.
The contract he signed was for 3 years (max he could sign as a 17 year old) so will be down to 2 years in August 2025 and I imagine we'll want him to sign another one .......... so if playing time is linked to contract why would we be stopping playing him towards the end of the season when hoping he will sign another one in pre season.
It's a none issue the boy had a nasty illness. It clearly set him back. He's going to be a srar.......

Really poor management from Ange on Mikey, these dead rubber matches are made for players like him to make a name for themselves. For me deserves minutes more than Tel, who has failed up front and I can't see Levy parting with £45 million for.
Giving Werner minutes ahead of Moore after we’d also signed Tel was shamefully bad.
We’ll probably have to loan out Moore next season to guarantee he gets enough game time to develop properly. Certainly we can’t trust Ange to be able to figure it all out.
Hopefully Ange being here next season won't be a problem
This season for all the wrong reasons is perfect for giving our top talent minutes to develop

I don't think Moore is going to get many more minutes this season- Ange I think is too desperate for Prem points and EL advancement to trust playing younger players unless he absolutely has to.

No European games next season will be a huge problem for our young players, we need it.
If Moore player centre forward as Tel has I think he’d fail as well.
If Mikey had something like Glandular Fever you can be over it after a few months and still be tired and listless for months after that
We need to convince him to sign another one, as you can only sign for 3 years on the first pro deal.
He should be playing more anyway, particularly now the remaining PL games are likely to be pretty dead for the crowd.
Him coming on will always get the supporters to raise the noise levels, as everyone wants to see him succeed.
