actually I suppose there'll be more chance of games in the europa, no way they're going to qualify for the CL now
Of course we would struggle - in our current state!Celtic and Rangers would take an absolute beating at first. Going from playing bums most weeks to playing genuine elite footballers would be extremely difficult for them. Looking at some of the teams they struggled against in recent years in Europe? They’d be looking at some cricket scores coming up against the usual suspects. Hell, I think they’d get battered by ‘smaller’ teams like Forest or Palace. And if they bought poorly I could see them, especially Rangers, becoming stuck in the Championship.
Saying all that, I honestly would like to see both in the Prem/English pyramid as a whole as I think it would either save Scottish football or at the least open it up for those left behind.
On the bench again. Fucking pointless loan. He won’t start away at Brugge either and definitely not start against Celtic next week. This boy needs to be playing.
Yea but also he's a kid on loan at a new club, in a new league, and could use a run of games in his best position to help him find his feet. That looks increasingly far away by now.

But then if there was a British league made tomorrow we would get access to the T.V. rights and we could get far greater commercial deals.
I'm not a fucking idiot who thinks if you shoe horned any Scottish club into English football as things stand they'd compete but give it a few years and for the money to deliver a bit of equilibrium they absolutely would compete.
I mean yeah, that's obviously a possibility, then so be it.You forgot to consider competency.......
Plenty of clubs score a ticket to the 'promise land' and squander it......
If they didn't hit the ground running they could easily find themselves relegated to the champo; then it's a long hard way back.
Fucking get a clue about the game ffs.On the bench again. Fucking pointless loan. He won’t start away at Brugge either and definitely not start against Celtic next week. This boy needs to be playing.

Right now tho the EPL gets billions from Sky when 10% of its customers get like 2% of the outflow.
Either amalgamate the leagues or distribute the money accordingly.
I think I do. We shouldn’t have sent him to a club where winning is imperative every week and the manager will be under pressure constantly. I’d rather he went to fucking Belgium
Should have loaned him to a championship sideOn the bench again. Fucking pointless loan. He won’t start away at Brugge either and definitely not start against Celtic next week. This boy needs to be playing.
Good point. I can remember when Jol had a young Lennon playing out on the left wing rather than the right, and he was really ineffective at first, but Jol was doing it for his education and, I believe, it made Lennon a better player. Why are people saying he should play LW only?
The whole point of learning your trade as young player is to play in different environments, clubs, systems, positions.
Mikey is fully capable of playing multiple positions. He needs to learn how to play RW, AM maybe even second striker.
Problem with making him play LW only is that he learns to be a one trick pony and then it becomes easy for teams to mark him out of games.
You look at some of the best dribblers, part of what makes Messi so good is that he picks the ball up in all areas of the pitch. A defender can't just hold his position and mark him out the game. The fluidity to move across the pitch is something Mikey has to learn.
One of Mike's advantages is that he's a pretty balanced player and can use both feet and take the defender on down the line and also cut inside. He has to develop that across the pitch, that level of unpredictability will turn him into a demon.
It's a nonsense idea to make him into a LW and only a LW.
If Sky stopped showing Scottish football then how much of that 10% would cancel their subscription - not many. Celtic vs Rangers aside, 90% of their viewership aren’t watching Scottish football and the 10% that are our also watching the Premier league.I mean yeah, that's obviously a possibility, then so be it.

THIS. Complete blagger the game is full of them. He's young Postecoglou.Russell Martin has got to be amongst the worst managers going. He is one step up from Les Reed, Steve Kean and Sol Campbell
