Player Mikey Moore

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Yeah but Mikey got that chance last year in the PL and he clearly wasn't ready. Maybe Kane wouldn't have been ready either if we'd dropped him in 2 years earlier.

I think he's improved a lot in the past year but not enough to be a PL regular yet. I think he'll gain more from another year on loan than he will being a bit part player in our squad. Especially as we won't have Europe.
I think the whole team was a mess, the issue was expecting him to carry the team, because seniors consistently let us down so badly.

We should bring him back from loan in the summer, pay £30 million for a Spanish 20 year old and make Mikey learn from the bench watching him.

Tried and tested formula at Spurs. We wouldn't keep doing it if it wasn't working would we?

Honestly, there’s no rush with MM

He’s obviously not a pacey winger but he can definitely be skilled and smart enough to be a 10.

Let him keep playing minutes in less physical leagues than the prem then, bring him when he’s going to play every week.

There’s definitely Kane comparisons to be made in terms of pathway

It’s why he needed this move. You might argue he was playing against superior technical players at U21 when playing U21 Spain or U21 Portugal but Kilmarnock players will be a lot more physical than 18 year old U21’s and a lot more experienced and street wise.

I always thought last season his issue was physical. He couldn’t deal with playing back to goal, accelerating in tight space or simple shoulder barges. He looked like a boy, a very talent boy but in a men’s league.

Constantly playing against men and doing lots of gym work to improve core strength is the key. His brain and technique has always looked excellent and that is the more important if you want to be elite but he needs to get to premier league physical level which he isn’t yet.

Agreed. Yes it’s 10 man Killie, but bossing a game at Ibrox as an 18 yo is impressive. Shades of Gascogne there

5-0 and maybe could have been more, Rangers' set pieces very good 1st half. Mikey likely to get a run out 2nd half, Rangers support singing his song during the first half for a while.

Rohl rotating players for next 2 league games against Motherwell and Hearts. I think he's a young manager to keep a close eye on.

Fuck sending him on loan again bring him home and develop
In house. You know we just go out and buy anther unproven kid from a ropey league for loads of money. They would get the minutes and coaching that MM should be getting. How many wide players do we have on loan already yet we have tel and oddjob here. Neither are much better than what’s on loan.
