Rangers fan here. He’s been sensational for us, hard to believe he’s only 18. He’s loving life with us, IMHO another year with us will benefit him, you and us. Regardless we will be forever grateful for his performances in the red white & blue, what a talent.
 
Anyone else hearing he wants to stay up there now??
Hard to blame him...they love him up there, some of his Family are Rangers('ish) ...why would he want to come back to our shit show, and potentially play in the Championship...?

If we go down need to build the team around the likes of him and Lankshear/Donley etc.
championship would be a better league for him as well.
 
He’s staying with us in the championship no question. It’s a more competitive league than spfl and was the next logical step for his development anyway. We’ll need to build around him like Villa did with Grealish.

Same as most loanees doing well, got asked by the press if he'd be open to staying another year up there and said he'd have to talk it though with the club (us) but he'd love to go back if we thought it was the best move for him. Same with Vuskovic constantly getting asked if he'd like to stay in Germany for another year.

Yeah absolutely. We effectively become the club we would've loaned him to if we go down.

One of the few positives of relegation is we can really blood some of the young talent. Would be great to see Mikey flourish in the Champ and integrate the likes of Lankshear, Devine, Byfield, LWB, etc.

Would help to rebuild the bond between the club and fans having a few more academy grads to root for.
