Player Min-Hyuk Yang

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Match finished 4-2 to Yang’s team.

Standard wasn’t great (to be expected) and the opposition keeper was pretty dreadful.

Gangwon spent most of their time playing on the counter whilst Yang was on the pitch.

Positives
- he helped out his defence
- pressed the opposition
- Scored and got an assist
- Defenders struggled to cope with him being two footed as they couldn’t tell which foot he was going to shoot with

Negatives
- he wasn’t overly involved in the game but that was primarily due to how Gangwon set up
- he also looked knackered when he came off after 84 mins. Yes he played most of the game but the pace in comparison to the EPL was worlds apart. It wasn’t like he was running around all game as it was played at a pretty pedestrian pace for most of it. I wouldn’t expect to see him involved with the first team squad for a good couple of years as he will need to seriously improve his fitness levels

I would assume so. He may need to spend the season after that on loan as well for the work permit points as well.

No, IMO spurs9 explanation above yours is correct

The new ESC status regulations brought in a couple of months ago, means that as he is playing in a top 50 FIFA league and played 24 games this season he can take one of 2 ESC places at Spurs which would give him a work permit.
