So I just found out you can watch all of the K league games in their site for free.

Guy looks really promising and it seems like his team is at top right now. If he leads his team to a title that would be something.

Match finished 4-2 to Yang’s team.

Standard wasn’t great (to be expected) and the opposition keeper was pretty dreadful.

Gangwon spent most of their time playing on the counter whilst Yang was on the pitch.

Positives
- he helped out his defence
- pressed the opposition
- Scored and got an assist
- Defenders struggled to cope with him being two footed as they couldn’t tell which foot he was going to shoot with

Negatives
- he wasn’t overly involved in the game but that was primarily due to how Gangwon set up
- he also looked knackered when he came off after 84 mins. Yes he played most of the game but the pace in comparison to the EPL was worlds apart. It wasn’t like he was running around all game as it was played at a pretty pedestrian pace for most of it. I wouldn’t expect to see him involved with the first team squad for a good couple of years as he will need to seriously improve his fitness levels
The stamina issue isn't a surprise, he is still at school, so can't train full time. He recently had a dip in form, as it was exam time and he had even less time to train and that was only a few weeks ago.

I hate to sound cynical here but Son is likely going to be leaving within a few seasons and he has a sizeable base of dedicated Korean supporters that regularly turn up at the ground to watch him play and that is a LOT of money and a LOT of arses in seats to lose once he leaves.

I don't think Levy is prepared to lose that supporter group and I think that's why this signing has happened.

Now obviously, if he turns out as good as Son did then it's a win regardless but I think the intention behind it is pretty obvious from a business perspective because come rain or shine Korean players in the PL have a sizeable support that will turn up and pay for tickets.
