Player Mohammed Kudus

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Maybe so but only an idiot replaces the strongest link instead of the 3 weaker ones
Strongest in terms of technique but if he’s making us disjointed as an attacking unit he’s making those options worse as well. Our players have stopped making runs with conviction now. Think it’s effecting Porros usefulness in an attacking sense the longer they’re playing together. There’s not much chemistry there either.

Simply put, I think Kudus is too much an individual player who is nowhere as good as people think, including my son who raved about him.

The best players make those around them also look better.

The jury isn't out on Kudus for me, so Frank needs to get messages to him that other managers have probably tried and failed to do.

Is Kudus the problem? No, but I certainly don't think he is the answer that's for sure.

Not the only one but he was awful tonight. Genuinely worrying performance. Praying it was an aberration
He's a good player and better than He's showed in recent outings . He's just not as good as some were suggesting he was. Decision making is poor and every time someone makes a run ahead of him he never plays them in. He can control a ball under pressure and put in a good cross and can beat a man 1v1 with space but he's not good in tight areas, isn't a team player, and wastes too much energy running around with the ball only to get back to where he started and play a 2 yard pass to someone he could of originally played it to.

At this point giving Kudus time at the #10 position and moving Simons back to a wing position might be a good way to take pressure off Simons and give Kudus a chance to create opportunities from the middle of the pitch.

Agree.

As usual he’s another player being vastly overated by the fanbase who have very little else to get excited about.

The guy offers no goal threat, he misses passes, he frustrates by hanging on to the ball far too long, he’s got little end product.

Is he a decent player? Yes. But that’s all he is. He’s miles away from being an elite player and Mbuemo for example is a much better player.

Kudus first season at West Ham impressed me but the more I’ve seen him for us the more I’m realising that that’s probably his level. If he was at City Woolwich or Liverpool he’d barely ever get a game. Yet for us he’s our star player. Says it all. Semenyo his compatriot is much better.

"In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is King"

Kudus is our best attacking player and exciting to watch at times, but also pretty limited in certain aspects of the game. Especially compared to the much more effective top wingers in the league.

Or perhaps he’s having to carry the attack single-handedly.

I should imagine every opposition team now know if you double up on Kudus you completely stop our attack.
And herein lies the point: if he’s being doubled up on then SOMEONE should be unmarked. Not capitalising on that space is what’s criminal from the team.

When Kane had a rare off day he was still effective by virtue of how shit scared opponents were of him so never left him free.
