Player Mohammed Kudus

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Frustrating as fucked. What he did with the assist is what I want him to do. Direct worked the space and put in a great cross. No doodling no running with it until opposition get behind the ball then playing it back. When he's direct he's effective.

Gets you off your seat then immediately makes you sit back down again.

He's starting to look like a faster Kulusevski out there. Good hold-up play/strength, occasional banger, but dallies too long on the ball and hits a decent cross every 20 attempts.

Put your head down, run, put your head up, cross. Keep it simple.

He's gone from season 1 West Ham form to season 2 West Ham form in the space of 3 months.

We've ruined him remarkably quickly. Or he's yet another flaky player to add to the pile.
He's a bang average player who looks better than he is. Always been the case with him. All the ability in the world, but a brain smaller than a penny. Frank's tactics are get the ball to Kudus and let him do his thing, which should favour him.

He's one of very few that I don't think the club have ruined and for me is doing about as well as I thought he would. He's just an okay player.

He needs good, strong coaching. He also needs to not be given an automatic start every game to help maintain focus on what the team needs. His assist was really nice, but far too often he is selfish and ruins open play opportunities with bad deliveries. I think he's someone we need to keep though- hopefully stronger competition and coaching will turn him into the player we need.

Whatever you think of him, his form has notably dropped off. He was really playing out of his skin in the first 6 weeks or so, consistently had the beating of his man and offered solid hold-up play. He's lost a bit of an edge and has generally looked less up for it/more lethargic for the past month. Passing a bit sloppier too.

Maybe this is his true level and he was just having an initial hot spell, which is pretty common when players join a new club. Or he's just knackered/teams are doubling up.

Could not agree more.

The fault is too often ours in acquiring the wrong calibre of player.

A level or 2 below Saka for prime example of the difference in quality.

came to say the exact same thing, he didnt hang onto the ball and its the best thing he done all game, literally got it under control and put it into a dangerous area for romero to have something to get onto, no standing players up for extra seconds and letting the other team get into shape.

I can see what West Ham fans were complaining about now.

Kind of player who would be amazing in a successful team, but absolutely worthless in a shit team

Yesterday you may remember at one point he broke free on a counter and the broadcast caught TF yelling at him to stop and pass back, presumably to preserve a little possession. Which he did.

I didn’t like that.
