yea i agree, not sure why all wingers are inverted these days. defending cut backs is far more dangerous than defending against players cutting in where its all still in front of you.

when kulu comes back be good to see kulu right and kudus left, kulu cutting in and kudus hitting the byline, potential to cause havoc.

I’m pretty sure that the consensus is that he doesn’t like playing on the left.

RW is his position. He was shunted LW at the Spammers because of Bowen.

West ham fans have said the same thing when he's played on the left and everytime I've seen him play there he isn't good, pointless move.

He's a RW, he's flawed but it's a bit silly moving our best attacker out of his primary position to play elsewhere therefore weakening two positions.

I disagree - I don’t think it will weaken us, or him. He’s not an inverted forward, it’s obvious

Lol...this is crazy analysis mate. I also think if we approach the game properly we can beat Liverpool. The league is messed up. Everyone beating every one . I think Leeds Chelsea looked a lock.

Some fixtures are hard to call. I accept that.

However;

Spurs have been consistently shite at home for a year; not just this season.

The away form is better but the wins Spurs were getting earlier under Frank have turned into draws and defeats.

But we keep losing at home.

Out of all the teams in the mix; Spurs are the team losing form and dropping down the table like a bag of bricks.

That’s my point - I don’t see him as a wing forward and I don’t know why Frank is limiting him by playing him there. He has a centred stance so he’s not suited to it, IMO and he faces the wrong way when he receives the ball, unlike say a Robben who played side on.

I’ve played at a higher level than the PE teacher so I don’t default to a ‘Frank knows best’ NPC viewpoint

I understand he plays centrally for Ghana? I can see that

With that being said how does playing on the left make a difference, if he has a centred stance and faces the wrong way when he receives the ball how does that improve on the left? All he's going to be doing is receiving the ball on his weaker side and turn away from goal on his stronger side which is his left foot. Trust me we have seen him on the left and he's horrible, it's not some revolutionary idea that you've just come across - it doesn't work.

This is a lack of coaching anyway. Have a look at how Arteta has got Saka receiving the pass from his full back, he makes an out to in run and curves his run so he receives the ball on the half turn so he has momentum when he's ready to take on the full back 1v1, Kudus always receives his pass with his back to the full back and by the time he turns around the fullback is already in his set position...these subtle little changes will help him and its annoying that our coaching staff haven't picked up on it.

Another factor is we just don’t release forward players quickly so by the time Kudus receives the ball, opponents are set and banked up.
 
I know it's easier said than done, but SERIOUSLY can't we just treat every HOME game like an AWAY game. ...?

Prepare the same for an away game, get a coach from the training ground if necessary... FLY to Stansted... Whatever it takes!

But I just know that The *INSERT NAMING RIGHTS Tottenham Hotspur Stadium isn't 'home' right now ..

So UNTIL we can make it something resembling a fortress, we have to think of more creative ways to overcome this apparent mental block of an issue!
