I think its been a long time since he had any ITK. He said that West Ham were digging their heels in for £70m+ for Kudus a few hours before we announced him. What’s Hercules on SC saying about this deal, he usually has his sausage fingers on the pulse
Reading through the lines, the release clause probably specifies "greater than 60m" and we probably bid £60,000,001.

He's saying the next 48 hours are critical. What’s Hercules on SC saying about this deal, he usually has his sausage fingers on the pulse

That's the thing, the absolute most money Forest stand to gain now by selling MGW is to Spurs, whether they like it or not. We are fairly likely to pay anything up to an additional £7.5m to make the complaint go away and get the deal done in a more express manner, especially if we bid £60m in earnest as a starting point for negotiation. If they go all the way with the complaint and drag us into the CAS over it we will be very unlikely to put any kind of sweetener in the deal if we are cleared, and even worst case scenario we pull out, well then everyone knows what the clause is now. You can't accuse other clubs of being privy to private contract information when Tottenham have widely publicised his release clause now by triggering it.
I just don't believe we are brazen or stupid enough to have done what some suggested, bid £60,000,001 knowing the clause specifies "greater than", if we had somehow become privy to the exact terms of the clause, we would also surely be privy to the confidentiality agreement as part of the very same clause? Even if we have in fact been in contact with the player to become notified I just don't believe a professional operator at this level of the game such as Levy has left any obvious trail to prove such an accusation.
What is it with getting on TV or making public statements that will change the legality of the actions that have been taken? And how often do you hear big public statements from these agencies? This is exactly right and there are only two possible reasons CAA Stellar weren't screaming bloody murder on every TV show in the country first thing Friday morning:
1. They've done something wrong
2. Their client doesn't want to fight this
Either way, Forest wins.
So say we all!
I think it would be a great signing personally but I also don't think it's going to happenNot sure this is the signing that we need. He's got flair but his goal involvement (G+A) isn't that impressive.
60 m GBP is a lot of money, and despite Marinakis acting like it's a steal, I'm not sure it is.
Marinakis robbed Levy once, and I think he's about to do the same trick again.
I think this signing will be very underwhelming.
They should bite our hands off for 60 mil with 2 years left on his contract, especially since he won't sign an extension. Think we'd probably take 60 mil pounds (not euro) for romero.
We'd be playing into their hands moving on but I don't know, you add another 20/25 mil to that 60 we were ready to spend and you could get someone who would elevate the side
I remember Berbatov tapping up
Premier League: League tells Tottenham Hotspur to prove Manchester United tapped up Dimitar Berbatov
Tl;Dr
The premier league laughed at our complaints and told us to go fuck ourselves.
See what they say this time
I dunno. I mean, Himothy?? Who names himself Himothy?Tbf, that's all quite specific stuff, not the mystic meg shit you get on Spurs Con-unity.
If he's right then you'd have to take him serious in the future.
Has anyone actually ever proved that a club has been tapping up a player?
Liverpool got a slap on the wrist for Christian Ziege 20 years ago. A lot of the time the selling club won’t pursue anything because they want to tap up themselves in the future. Remember when there were pictures of Ashley Cole meeting Chelsea reps, Woolwich didn’t go as strong as they could have.Has anyone actually ever proved that a club has been tapping up a player?
