I'm not sure how Sissoko got time on the wing for France, but I've never seen him as anything else but a central midfielder. I still think we are playing him out of position, that he is NOT a wide player based on his skill set, and have no real understanding of why we decided to purchase him.
He looked very bad today and should be ashamed of his poor end-product.
I hope Poch figures out a way to get him involved at CM/CDM since it's the only role I feel he has a chance of succeeding in at our club.

I think the criticism of Sissoko is pretty damn ridiculous to be totally honest. Most people didn't want him here anyway so are overdoing the criticism because it suits their agenda.
Has Sissoko looked a 30m player? No
Has he so far not had a good end product? Yes
But has he looked terrible? Hell no. He tracked back really well tonight and also made some good runs. He certainly needs to improve though but calling him a gooner is not helpful and spouting nonsense about him being lazy Is far off the mark.

Wijnaldum was bought from newcastle too by liverpool and he's been pretty good for them... Sissoko is just shit
I will say that if Sissoko and Janssen were Mane and Batshuyai....I honestly think we could win the league.

We were in for Wijnaldum before Liverpool early in the summer. Then we got distracted by Gotze. Ended up with Sissoko. Five minutes before the transfer deadline of course.

He absolutely has looked terrible. offered absolutely nothing tonight! Gave the ball away constantly, rarely beat his man the one shot he had was pathetic and his crossing was atrocious. He couldn't even do the basics right and as a 27 year old, experienced international with a few years of playing in england behind him... its not acceptable.
Him and Ben Davies pissed me off so much tonight because you just knew every time they got the ball it was going to come to nothing. I'm usually very forgiving but it was ridiculous.

Regardless of whether his is playing out of postion or not, his passing effort so far has been atrocious. Plus Sissoko seems incapable of doing anything with the left foot. Maybe he comes good , but the early signs equate to a Newcastle bamboozle job.
