Jaco I'm not sure what you are disagreeing with there?

If you know how transfermarkt.co.uk come up with their figures I would be intrigued to know.
Is it a solid source for transfer fees?
It’s a little German guy that did it for a hobby and people thought it was a serious company

he admits to being totally shocked the way it’s used as a legitimate source

Done in once again by a former player. #Spursy!!

oh wait his best chance is a ball that he skied so high it still hasn’t landed.

In all seriousness I hope he has a great season and helps take many points off our rivals.

I only found out he was gone when I turned on the match today to see him wearing the wrong shirt.

I honestly want to laugh and cry at the same time; he was both a cult hero and banter incarnate. I hated him at first, then came to love him, then went back and forth about 50 times over the years, and then I didn't even realise he was sold. What a legend!

Will forever have a place in my heart, his turn around from utter joke to crucial is why he is a professional footballer, his mentality.

A quarter of the talent, maybe, of Ndombele, made 10 times the impact. Capable of being complete dross, but never took a shift off, never gave anything less than his absolute best.

Always have time for those players. When you reach a certain level in the sport, you can't really control your talent - but you can control your effort. Never gonna get down on someone for a lack of the former (if anything, that's the club's fault), and never gonna accept a lack of the latter.

When he ran at the Spurs defense, shaping up to have a shot, a feeling of dread suddenly came over me... he's finally going to score one...against us! I needn't have been alarmed, good old Moussa, the row Z specialist. how did I doubt you?

Good luck to him at Watford.

I'd rather we shifted Winks. We'd have got more money and git rid or a less useful player.

You ever heard the phrase "perfect is the enemy of good"?

This is that. It's good that Sissoko is gone. I'm not going to pull my hair out over whether we should have sold Winks first.

We should not have sold Winks first.

Transfers also take more than 1 party. Spurs is Winks' club since he was a 6 year old kid, its clearly his dream job and no doubt he knows once he's left the chances of him coming back are pretty low. He's not a football vagabond, its completely possible Winks views being a bit part squad player for Spurs more desirable than a bigger role at Watford or Burnley.

Winks has been at Spurs for 19 years. Pretty sad how some of the "fans" treat him.
