I seem to remember getting a lot of stick for saying United would fall down the league with Moyes, and that Fergie would be a shadow over him from the directors box.
No it was from a certain other poster of well renown. Seriously though, Fergie is like the ghost at the feast right now. Not that there's much of a feast though.
The irony is that Fergie is probably the one keeping Moyes in the job at the moment.

To be fair, who is? They knew that when they had a vacancy to fill. I was baffled as to why they weren't looking at one of the very best managers out there, but then I suppose that many would not want to work with the previous man hanging around in the background.

I (like most I suspect) struggled not to piss myself laughing at Moyes' post-match comments. Aside from anything else, it showed he is at best a poor man's Alex Ferguson on camera as well as in the dugout. I'll struggle to take him seriously from now on.
