when was the last time Carl said anything positive about the club? He is a 'supporter' when it suits him so therefore he isn't what you would call a true Spurs fan. I find it interesting that ever since AVB got appointed he decided to come on here and be negative about everything. He is completely at a loss when it comes to rational thinking and realism.
With that in mind he is either a troll, a 15 year old glory hunter who thinks he is more educated then he is, a middle aged man who thinks he is more educated then he actually is or a 60 odd over-weight man, with a twitching eye, a wealthy dog and probably resides in Bournemouth with a weekend bedsit in Shepherds Bush.

I always love our manager, whoever he is (well, except the Goonersaurus) and dislike criticism of him. I loved Arry and didn't understand the criticism, but he lost me big time when the team folded up and died when he thought he had the England job.
I think that AVB is a thinking manager who knows far more about the game than I do, and I watch some of his decisions and think WTF! But I accept he knows more than I do and the reasons may be long term rather than my own short term desire.
I also think it is plain that the team is developing into a new method of playing, one that some of them are finding hard to understand. I accept that some of my favourites are not going to succeed under it and I mourn that, just as some players I don't rate are going to blossom under him. I can see that he has got perhaps 30% right and 30% is getting there, while a lot is very early days. I can't see what he is driving after, but fucking hell I can't wait to see what it is!!! And I know damn well that we wont see it for at least another year, and that he needs certain types of players to achieve it. I know that some players that we rate are probably too thick to play his way and will be ignored.
I am really pleased that he has achieved as much as he has so quickly, and there are some terrific indications of how respected the man is by so many players, not just our players either. It seems to be that it is the dinosaurs who can't understand what he is doing, and by that I mean players, especially ancient past it Chav players, ignorant hacks and some fans.

To consign him to the bin of trolls and teenagers, when he quite obviously isn't either of those, is a bit harsh. He appears to be someone that follows the club home and away and has done for years. I don't believe this makes his opinions any more valid than anyone else's, but it certainly means he is entitled to have his views heard and taken seriously.
I'm pretty sure we've all looked at at least one AVB decision and thought "what the fuck is going on there?", it just so happens those feelings are stronger in others.
Like Carlito, I've not been impressed by all of our performances this season and do feel that we have a couple of players struggling with form or fitness that maybe should not be playing. I've supported us for 32 years now, seeing the odd cup win, but nothing else, so I'm hardly a glory hunter. I do think AVB deserves time to get a system in place for success, but I can empathise with the frustration that we have a great chance of serious glory this year and it still seems slightly out of our reach.
I want this place to be a forum for debate, I don't want it to be a place that's full of infighting, nor do I want it to be completely clean and overly matey like COYS. Lets embrace the chance for debate with others who like us all, just want the very best for the team we support.

Ive tried to explain to people on here why I dont like AVBs style and you either get some pedant picking on one point out of the whole thing to try and discredit it or someone who just posts a stupid picture / remark...so its pretty pointless.
