Sorry, financial regulation is my day job. I get annoyed when football clubs get involved in these high risk financial things. Could lead many fans to dabble without an understanding of the risks involved."Our sponsor is operating as an unregistered securities exchange".
You'll never sing that.
Paid in Dogecoin or some such nonsense? If they're made up, surely we can make up how much they're paying us to circumvent FFP, right?
£300m
A season.

I'm sure they're aware. They just don't care.Sorry, financial regulation is my day job. I get annoyed when football clubs get involved in these high risk financial things. Could lead many fans to dabble without an understanding of the risks involved.
We've already had the socios nft shit, a gambling sponsor and now this. Club are lacking awareness, or dont care, of the impact these things can have on a fan.

Why are kraken sponsoring the shirt? To get more people to use their exchange and by extension more people to use crypto. Why?
If we were sponsored by Paddy Power would more fans gamble?
When we were sponsored by Holstein did more fans drink?
Not being a wanker here, genuinely interested.
You think we need it?Kinda surprising that Levy hasn’t secured a stadium sponsorship yet. It’s been over 5 years since the stadium opened.
I prefer not having a corporate sponsor name but I’m surprised Levy would turn down what would likely be a significant amount of money. You think we need it?
Been so many posts (literally hundreds) over the last few years on why we probably don't.
Chelsea have just sold their women's team to themselves to circumvent FFP. Maybe we could sell the corner flags to ourselves for £50m?If they're made up, surely we can make up how much they're paying us to circumvent FFP, right?

Surely that's the plan and I guess it must work to an extent or they wouldn't do it.Why?

Not sure about a hack, but what would you prefer if not Visa or MC? Amex? Paypal? Debit? Are people feeling safe using soccer03 these days?
Heard something about a hack and they only take visa & mastercard by the looks of it.
I just assumed it was only debit cards they were taking. I could dust off the credit card and see if it works. Not sure about a hack, but what would you prefer if not Visa or MC? Amex? Paypal? Debit?
Personally if there was any risk I'd be quite happy using a credit card because I would have some level of protection if Visa & MC were allowing their products to be used. I definitely wouldn't use a debit card linked to my bank account or Paypal.
Just wondering.
I always use credit cards online because they offer better fraud protection and better protection against failure of the company before delivery. I never use debit cards online and rarely use PayPal.I just assumed it was only debit cards they were taking. I could dust off the credit card and see if it works.
I think it was discussed at the open forum he did with Ange.I prefer not having a corporate sponsor name but I’m surprised Levy would turn down what would likely be a significant amount of money.
I've used it three times this season, always use a credit card, far more protection IF something dodgy happened. Are people feeling safe using soccer03 these days?

Crypto does still seem to be sucking people into its promise of free money though, so seeing it on the shirts may gain some customers who think they must be trustworthy and were considering gambling (I refuse to call it investing) on crypto. Google Kraken crypto exchange and you get: "Kraken -the crypto platform for smarter investing". Yeah right.
Imagine the dipshits on Spurs Community, who love (virtually) slapping a wad of cash down to thank the "ITK's" for their information seeing this.
