Nike have been hit and miss, we’ve had some good kits - not necessarily ones people over 40 like, but some solid kits.
Their first 3 years with us were very good - the navy blue in 2017 had universal appeal, it was the simple elegant kit everyone wants. The purple and yellow was more about the youngsters but it was nice enough. The following year we had the now iconic Ajax kit - not a great kit, the neck line is awful. The other effort that year looked like a training shirt but is weirdly popular with some fans. The third year they excelled in my opinion the blue and purple kit is fantastic and the light blue was like the one in the early 90’s.
Since then there have been more misses than hits, the yellow kit could have been great if it was all 1 shade - just 1 yellow kit under Nike so far, absolutely ridiculous. The trippy space kit I maintain is still brilliant.
The rest have verged on forgettable to plain awful - last seasons Taupe kit being the low point although the scuba shirt and this years away is giving it a run for its money
