Kit New Kit

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

They’re not bad, but I’m not a fan of the central logos and badges. Definitely some of the nicer kits we’ve had though.

It was 19 years ago so....

Very nearly 20 years ago.
If we had a 1985 look kit in 2005 and called it retro you wouldn't blink twice.
To be fair, I've been wearing my original 1982 Centenary shirt since I got it in 1985...

Found it in the lost property basket at school...
Waited an ENTIRE term to see if anyone claimed it, but noone ever did...

So on the last day of Summer term, I 'borrowed it' for the 6 weeks holidays...

It was way too big for me... came down to my knees and looked like a dress...
But then again, so did Glenn Hoddle's kit...
so in a way, I WAS replicating my hero!

That Summer holiday lasted 40 years and I'm still wearing it.
(Needless to say, it fits better now, albeit quite 'worm'!!)

That's my confession for the day!!

I was 4 when that happened.
True story.

This is where we're all different. I thought the shield made it look cheap and nasty. I prefer the others with maybe the exception of the last one far more.
That cringe marketing line about it being there "to protect whilst we were away from our home stadium" made me want to vom too...

"Ooooh, pwease pwotect our poor wittle wambs whilst they pway at Wembwey, pwease..."

FFS.

:wall:

No wonder we never bloody win anything!
