Management New Manager?

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Haha exactly! i was so pro-AVB but good lord that would be an error, not yet for Andre, these chairmen need to stop being stupid, what with obscene changes in management and the way they piss away money people running clubs in the main should be ashamed
I know, I still look back at Chelsea sometimes and try and fathom why they got rid of Ancellotti for AVB. Dont dislike AVB but its madness, like getting rid of Mourinho for Simeone.

Is he though?

At Chavs, PSG & Madrid he's had tonnes of money.

At Milan he inherited some awesome players IIRC.
By that regard most 'top managers' would be pants. Guardiola, Mourinho etc inhereted ridiculous squads, its what you do with them that counts. Hes a winner and his record is ridiculous. Hell probably win the league next year as well, Italian, English, French leagues on his cv already. Three champions leagues. Dont see what there is to question.

Yeah but that's the kind of logic a rich club would use when hiring a manager. Surely makes more sense for a club with less resources to favour managers who have histories doing well with less resources (e.g. Benitez).
Would seem like much less of a gamble imo.

There's a certain amount of irony here - the guy who wants a billionaire to buy us trophies is dead set against the manager who is guaranteed (by career history) to win us a trophy, Benitez, and is gagging for the guy who has never won a trophy as a manager (Pochettino).

Hmm..

I've just read this from Dear Mr Levy. This quote sums us up to a tee:
Pochettino or De Boer you say? It doesn't matter Daniel, the one you chose will fail and the other will goeth on to win the Champions League playing beautiful football. This is the way it is for the Tottenhamites, and always will be.

I just need a time frame of when the deal will be announced. Checking the web, bookies odds, twitter etc every minute of every day, is doing me nut in.:nawty:

It'll be the VERY minute when you go into the kitchen to get some food... or turn the telly over to check if Babestation is still encrypted, or if you take a call, or your internet goes down...
THEN AND ONLY THEN will Levy strike (he's watching all of us you know... just waiting for our attention to wane momentarily...)

Id say we are kind of a big club at the moment, stylistically and tactically we are nowhere, but we arent a squad that needs to be created or accumalated, just need the right man to mould us Into something formidable. And im not disagreeing with a possible but unlikely Benitez appointment, think he'd be great for us. Think we just need someone willing to motivate a squad rather than rebuild, no Redknapp smilies:eriksenserious:
