For 50 Cent, the show comes over 10 years after he released his latest studio album – 2014’s ‘Animal Ambition’. Since then, he has gone on to drop ‘The Complete G-Unit’ with the hip-hop band in 2019.
Davido drops his latest album ‘5ive’ early next year, which marks the follow-up to his ‘Timeless’ record which arrived in 2023.
Mary J Blige released her latest album more recently, however – sharing ‘Gratitude’ via her own label Beautiful Life Productions just last month.

Saw them at Glastonbury. Admittedly I was unbelievably hungover but I thought they were a real disappointment then. Can only imagine they’re worse now a decade or so later.
Yeah saw them at the tax payers stadium few years ago, was one to tick off but not one of the greatest gigs I ever been to.
I saw them at Wembley Stadium in 1990. They were pretty decent back then.
Yeah that would have been the time. I preferred guns n roses back then though….also much better than now funnily enough!
I was there, watched Start Me Up, then went to the Other Stage to see Chase & Status, who I've never been a huge fan of. REALLY enjoyed it though. I'm normally not into dance music of any kind, and don't do dancing. My normal gig MO is to try to find my way as close to the front as I can. For this set though I just stayed right at the back and wazzed around like a mad man and had the best time.
I saw them there in the pouring rain and they were really good. They were on before or after Nile Rodgers. Might be getting my years mixed up, as I’m pretty sure I watched all of the Rolling Stones. But can’t remember chase and status being there that year. I should have done the same as you, but I was so hungover as my dad died that week and I was all over the place that weekend as a result. Never drink a whole bottle of rum in a day is all I can say!
