Match Newcastle Away 1.30pm Sunday Sept 1

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I saw nothing but melting by fans going into this one. Newcastle away, we usually get battered here, no fit striker, no VDV blah blah blah.

We then actually go there, dominate and (let's be honest) are unlucky to lose. And it's world war 3.

It’s because a lot of the melters on this forum don’t know anything about football, only melting.

Got to disagree with you here.
The toxicity is definitely understandable.
Some people love to moan.
Everyone, including the dogs on the street knows Richarlison is not the answer or ever will be, he cannot stay fit and we should have been more ruthless in the summer and sent him packing it at very least let him know he wasn't in future plans.
Not sure of the point you're trying to make here?
Yes, we missed a bag full, but still look like getting cut open so easily against any half decent team, sounds familiar eh, because it's the same as last yr. You may say Shit happens, but a manager should be willing to adjust his approach to help rectify this and so far we have seen no sign of this. This is not the Scottish premiership, a virtual two horse race where you are on the strongest horse, this is the premiership, we don't have the best team and should be willing to cut our cloth accordingly.
Did you actually watch the game? Ange changed things at HT, how many other managers that we had over the last 5 years or so have done that?
Thought Ange was poor again today, moving Romero to the left was not the best idea, his late subs were poor again, Werner being totally ineffective.
Late subs? See above!
Feel for him a bit, as St James is probably somewhere you wanted some experience off the bench, and Bentancur aside we are relying on kids and will be going forward.
You're waffling now.
Newcastle away is a tough assignment and it ain't the end of the world, but a poor result against Scum and pressure will mount
Poor result? You mean a loss?
and we all know how trigger happy Levy is when he wants blame diverted from him to his latest managerial sacrifice.
Ah, and there it is...

Dominated. But nativity cost us again.

It’ll happen all season. Win some, lose some.

Way short mentally of what’s needed to improve. That’s on the coach AND the players.

Why the fuck have we resigned Werner??? He was dog shite last season and was woeful when he came on today / wish I could see what ange sees
Tbh with werner not sure he puts boots on wrong way round. Shooting is terrible. Surely in training you drill the player to have shooting practice. Tbh i think ange is obsessed with wingers. Needs to be obsessed on defending and being ruthless in frint of goal.

It’s not WW3

The usual melters masquerading as spurs fans just wanted any excuse to pop off.

Each and every single one of the whinging little fucks are now on ignore.

I’ve got no time for their nonsense, and they sure as shit don’t offer anything of value to this forum.

Thought we played well and as had been said b4 we dominated for long periods and just couldn't get that second... I'm thinking ( hoping) that either Ritchie or solanke would have given our forward line a better shape and would have turned that dominance into goals.. .

Ah, and there it is...

They all crave that sweet excitement of new manager rush. All the juicy controversy and rumours. So many chances to moan about a lack of ambition in the eventual appointment. A million chances to be right about how negative they are.

And if we are honest, this club has replaced the addiction to winning that it claims to have with an addiction to that controversy.
