Match Newcastle Away 1.30pm Sunday Sept 1

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I can't believe the negativity on here..."Oh if we only lose by one goal, I'll be happy....

What happens when we play Arse or Citeh? Do the same negative vibes apply?

When I barrack for a team, I want them to win every time they play...Positive Vibes....

Pull your fingers out of your rings and start pushing positive vibes towards the players.

1-3 Spurs.
Read a few years ago about poch a few years ago and he was saying he was alarmed by mentality of club. Fixtures came out and players were worried about playing QPR at home as returning as Manager amongst other fixtures that were easily winnable. Sunday is winnable if we have the mentality. Do think this is a test for Ange particularly defensive side as got creamed there last season without them trying hard to score.

My confidence will differ depending on the front thee we put out tbh.

Son - Solanke - Odobert is all I ask.
Solanke fit would be great but I also think Richarlison can start now too so we will at least have a physical presence up front.

Newcastle really struggled with Bournemouth's intensity and looked shattered by the end of the game. They play Forest in the cup tomorrow as well so we really should be looking to press like maniacs and force the issue for intensity.

Perhaps you missed last year's game dipstick?

Mentality is the crux.
Every game day thread, someone says "This is a must win game"
FFS. Every game is a must win! That's called competition. That's when you barrack for your club and send out positive vibes to the players, the coaches and the fan base.

I fully believe that the result of our matches is directly impacted by how confident the TFC forum is

Confident = embarrassing draw or loss
Not confident = good draw or win

There won't be a much better time to play them, Schar is suspended and Lascelles and Bottman are both injured meaning they likely have to play Burn and Krafth at CB, both of whom are shite. As others have said big game for the defence because Newcastle are definitely there to be got at, just need to set the tone early in the first half and not let them settle into the game and get the crowd behind them.
3-2 Spurs, Isak to give us the shits late on after controlling much of the game in typical Spurs fashion.
