Match Newcastle Away 1.30pm Sunday Sept 1

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

"top teams often win there"

Well Woolwich have lost there twice in the last three seasons. Including last year where they came much closer to winning the league...

Man Utd haven't won there for four years

We havent won there in three years.

Chelsea haven't won there in three years.

Villa got battered 5-1 last season,

City failed to beat them there two seasons ago (won the league). And needed a 91st minute winner last season.

That's not often.

Using City and Liverpool as a benchmark is all well and good, but there's also a reason those are the only two teams who have won the Premier League since Conte's Chelsea 7 years ago.

Newcastle away, especially under Howe is not an easy game nor does it define a season. Losing there doesn't define where we finish. Anything more would be a bonus.
The only problem with your post is that most of the teams you’ve cited aren’t top teams. Tottenham have been a long way from being title contenders for a long time

Again, the only three teams that have been in the title race over the past two seasons, have all won there in the past two seasons; one of them twice

So it’s a good a test of whether we are potentially looking at moving up a level this season.

I can't believe the negativity on here..."Oh if we only lose by one goal, I'll be happy....

What happens when we play Arse or Citeh? Do the same negative vibes apply?

When I barrack for a team, I want them to win every time they play...Positive Vibes....

Pull your fingers out of your rings and start pushing positive vibes towards the players.

1-3 Spurs.
Bookies have it pretty level. I think we might win this or at least get a point.

That really depends on what you consider a top team and how pedantic you're going to be.

How are teams in the Champions League, have won trophies or in other European competitions not considered "top teams"?

Again, the only three teams that have been in the title race over the past two seasons, have all won there in the past two seasons; one of them twice

Wait, so are including Liverpool or not?

Because they definitely weren't in a title race two seasons ago, they didn't even finish in the top four. So do they count? Were they not a top team then?

Can't believe the amount of respect we're showing these cunts. Fucken shite club from a shite town with shit fans and a financially doped renaissance.
Yoyo club, get back to the Championship
Completely agree about this "massive club", some history prior to being taken over by John Hall:

Results failed to improve, despite the acquisition of a new striker in David Kelly and the efforts of promising young players including Steve Howey, Steve Watson and Gavin Peacock, and in February 1992 Ardiles was sacked. Despite being the best-supported side in the division and frequently still managing to pull in crowds of more than 20,000, Newcastle were also millions of pounds in debt and faced with the real prospect of third-tier football for the first time ever. A saviour was needed, and in came new chairman John Hall, who offered the manager's job to Kevin Keegan.

20,000, that's not really that impressive it 🤔

I remember the Chavs got barely 14k against Leicester before Abramovic financially doped them
