I'm flabbergasted only four people watch Conte to stay, I didn't expect him to be leading the poll but level with Carrick? Didn't realise how unpopular this opinion was but if Conte wants to stay and keep going there's nobody I'd rather be our manager at the current moment.
I think Conte has had ok results, perfunctory football style, grumpy demeanor and he clearly doesn't want to be at spurs anymore.

It's highly unlikely he will be at spurs next season and I'm glad as it's been a miserable season supporting spurs.

It’s pointing at being one of these I suspect, less cooper.

Yeah you can probably take out Postecoglou as well so leaves Poch, Luis Enrique, Tuchel, De Zerbi, Frank or Amorin. Be amazed if its not from that group and very surprised if its not one of the first 3.

I really think that they should be looking to buy out Roger Schmidt at Benfica, he's a much better option than a few on that list, especially if you want a guy who will do attacking football, but work with a Sporting Director and prefer young talent to established stars.

I don't follow Italian football closely enough to have a strong opinion on Spalletti, so my question is simply whether he's not on the list here (and not being linked in the media, as I can tell), because he's not good enough or because the assumption is he will not leave, with him about to become a Napoli deity?

My knowledge is limited to knowing that he's been relatively succesfull at most clubs, my being fascinated with his 4-6-0 formation (before Pep ever thought of it), and being hugely impressed whenever I watch Napoli this season.

Poch no longer with an outright majority. Have people changed their votes? If so based on what? Better new suggestions or the fact it’s looking less and less likely to actually happen?

I notice that a lot of people get influenced by reports from journalists.

So last week when Enrique was mentioned in the press, a lot of Spurs fans Twitter accounts were putting out polls saying “Who would you rather; Poch or Enrique” and because Enrique was being mentioned a lot by the press, people were voting for him.

I can definitely see it happening, a manager who's overachieving on a budget. I thought he'd prefer Tuchel or Enrique because they're bigger names, but Silva will cost less as well. He's the easiest and cheapest manager to get and he's also prem proven.
I don't think Levy is penny pinching when it comes to managers, given his appointment of Jose and Conte (Nuno was a stop-gap and everyone knew that), as well as the last contract Poch was on. So the fact that Silva would cost less is irrelevant.

He was not on the list cos no-one requested he'd be added......

(He is now)

REMINDER:

YOU ARE STILL ABLE TO CHANGE YOUR VOTES UNTIL SUCH TIME THAT THE POLL CLOSES AT THE END OF THE SEASON; SO IF GUYS HAVE NOW BEEN ADDED THAT YOU'D PREFER, THEN IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO CHANGE YOUR VOTE.

👍

The football under Poch for his last 6 months at spurs was dire and after a few months out reevaluating his philosophy it has to be said despite the quality of his squad the football at psg during his spell there was tepid stuff - possession based going 10/15 minutes without a shot - not convinced poch mkII would be the exciting high tempo fare many expect or want

Why would you take the last 6 months of Poch's reign as an overall comparison when he was there for 5 years?

Because that’s why he got the sack - the team he picked and coached was absolute shite - fairly obvious and rational thinking in my opinion

Do you not think that maybe he was coming to the end of his cycle when he got sacked? You know players were burnt out? We perhaps didn't do enough to refresh the team?

Do you not think that with a bit more money to spend and some fresh players and a fresh start he could possibly reach the level or near to when we were at our peak?

No not reallly - I wasn’t averse to a poch return but the more I think about it the less i want it
