Surely levy / the club must be concerned if JN is really someone they are interested in that he is not allegedly interested in us?
His gonna go to Chavs isn’t he?
We should have struck ok Monday when he officially got his marching orders., be so disappointed if dint get him or poch.

It's it really an early stage? He's been doing good in 3 years in Sassuolo, 1 year in Shaktar Donetsk. Before that a couple of seasons in Italy. He's been coaching since 2013. For me it's not really stages. It's about time of. He is as experienced as Pochettino was when we got him, or even a bit more experienced.
Like I said I’m not against it.

Managers I don’t want:

Potter
Rodgers
Frank

Ok, after watching a bit of Burnley vs Sunderland I am really big on Kompany. Still would rather Nagelsmann or Schmidt, but the man has fucking Burnley playing like peak 16-17 Spurs. He’s legit.
..m

So can safely rule out Nagelsmann

I just want us to have am option that is highly regarded and who we are confident in getting.

Nothing but nothing will be more danaging than a protracted chase round the football play ground in pointless pursuit.

It will be Naglesman I’m certain of it , we just need all the pieces to fall into place ,
Firstly Potter gets sacked from Chelsea , Chelsea Hire Naglesman.
We then just need to stick it out with Potter until Chelsea sack Naglesman and then we can get our man!
Have faith and trust the process! :contethumb:

I think Nagelsman would suit the arrogance of a Chelsea. They seem a good match in that I could see it implode with all manner of problems or it could be a resounding succeess.

Much as we do need a massive injection of belief I think Nagelsman is either the new Mourinho or the new Boas.

I just want someone that wants to be here , not someone who feels they are doing us a favour

100% mate but they got to be competent and capable.

There is a difference between steadying the ship and making us competitive and if that's going to be at a Kaneless Spurs, then that level of quality will need to be apparent fron day 1.

So yes, but the pool of realistic options won't be that big in my opinion.

You think Kane is going to sign a new deal for Potter? Absolutely not. He will be out the door and we will be even more fucked than we already are, you think things are bad now, wait until Kane leaves.

We have become a poisoned chalice, 4 managers in 4 years, outside of a big payout or desperation for a job, who would want the Spurs job under this incompetent leadership?

Kane isn’t going to sign a deal based on any manager.

The only way he will is if, against all better judgement, he demonstrates a loyalty that is near lost in the modern game. It will be an emotional rather than a rational decision.

Because any reasonable person would tell him to leave.

Latest prediction:

- Levy is arrogant enough to think we can get the likes of Nagelsmann, De Zerbi or Frank, but we get rejected by all of them.

- He then desperately turns to Poch, who quite rightly tells him to fuck off

- We end up with our 5th or 6th choice way down the line, wasting time that could have been spent getting to know the squad, getting the right signings in etc. He lasts a year.

Rinse and repeat. Optimistic times...

Nailed it.
