I get some serious red flags about him, Bayern sacked him when they were on for a treble, Chelsea passed on him and so did we, he's now being linked with Napoli, I don't know it seems like he's flavour of the month and name but there's something about him that maybe we aren't seeing.

He's not the flavour of the month, that would be Slot or is it Ange now?

JN is clearly a talented young coach, already experienced despite his age and has a good CV. The idea that he isn't as good as Ange or Slot is fucking ridiculous and makes me question one's actual football knowledge.

Also, stop going on about people having to protest if they feel that strongly about Levy and ENIC. I'm protesting by not giving those bastards a single penny of my money, no ST renewal, no membership and not buying any kits of other tat with our badge stuck on it.

It all points to Ange with Munn involved, tour to Australia and Celtic’s season finishing this weekend.
If it is him he’ll get my full backing but how on Earth can we not throw everything at Nagelsmann. He ticks every single box. He’s young and hungry, been successful, his teams are excellent to watch and are aggressive and quick.
We have definitely missed the boat on him.
To Ange’s credit, he looks hungry too.

Not a direct response to your post. But sorry, this needs to be said.

Your profile pic.

What a disgusting show of disrespect to a man who spent 5 years swimming against the ENIC tide to give many of our fans the proudest, most memorable moments of their Spurs supporting lives.

Call yourself a Spurs fan?

The guy wanted the best for our actual football team and was rewarded with one and a half years of ZERO new players but still took his young team, your team, to within an inch of greatness. Against all the odds.

Of course we want him to fail in his new job for obvious reasons but come on....

Get some self respect, man...... And grow the fuck up!

Agreed.

Can’t believe some dickheads attitudes to Poch now.

He’d have joined us in a heartbeat if we’d asked. We didn’t.

We don’t get to dictate where he then goes.

I won’t ‘wish him well’ coz it’s Chelsea. I’ll just pause my feelings towards him until he leaves them.

Anyone calling him a traitor or a twat is a dickhead. End of.

What in the name or ridiculous strawmen is this about ffs? 😆

Also your point about protesting or lack of protesting counters those clowns who are pointing fingers at the fans who are willing to give Ange a chance, citing those fans who seemingly lack ambition by being happy with the choice yet those who want the owners don't actually fucking do anything about it apart from cry behind their keyboards - can't have it both ways

Good for you...good thing I wasn't referencing you then

Bayern sacked him when they were on for a treble and after sacking him they went on to (checks notes) not win a fucking treble. Even more so, the guys that sacked him have been sacked by the board themselves for being incompetent.

Chelsea didn't want him? That is the biggest Green Flag for any candidate we are looking at.

We passed on him? Did we? Even if we did, Levy passing on you usually = trophies elsewhere.

He's been linked to Napoli? They got their last managerial appointment wring didn't they?

Your last red flag is that maybe there is something we haven't seen?

Is it your full time job to willfully miss basic points? I'm not questioning his coaching ability more his attitude and his baggage that surrounds him - Just ask yourself why Bayern kicked him out with 2 months to go when they couldn't wait until the Summer, ask yourself why Chelsea preferred to hire our former manager over him, ask yourself why a manager of that standing who was linked to Real is now being linked to Napoli

You should at least try and apply some critical thinking.

Yes that's generally how Red flags work - they are things we cannot see in plain sight and have a hunch over.

Maybe but his record speaks for itself. Outwith Bayern he transformed two lower end German teams in to champions league teams playing great football. He’s young, hungry and will likely have a point to prove because of his Bayern experience.
I think he’d have that arrogant German winning mentality.
