Why would you take the last 6 months of Poch's reign as an overall comparison when he was there for 5 years?
Because he has an anti-Poch agenda. Such opinions do not count.

Yeah totally agree. I simply dont get why we're so cautious with managers under contract, it's usually less to stump up than that of a bang average back up player. The manager is the most important person at a club. Seems a weird set of priorities but i can only guess the powers that be at our place see a player as an asset that can be sold on, a manager will eventually be someone to pay off.
Yes, only one we did of the last 6 though.
No I don’t you thick twatBecause he has an anti-Poch agenda. Such opinions do not count.
If Mourinho or Conte were managing somwhere else do you really think we'd have gone for them? Or AVB? We did the same with Baldini and Paratici, their availabilty seemed to be the main criteria for the role. We may sniff around managers employed somewhere else but rarely have the courage of our conviction (Fonseca had left Roma) Thats why i'm sticking with my Poch, Luis Enrique or Tuchel prediction. Dont mind Poch, dont want the other 2, ideally it would be a fresh start with someone younger.Perhaps; but we clearly didn't aim for Jose or Conte (eg) cos they were 'free'.... Same with AVB.
In the case of Summer 21... Nagglesman(*), ETH, Poch, Potter, Fonsecca were all currently under contract but we reportedly pursued them anyway.
(*Munich reportedly had to pay €17m to get him.)
Truth hurts
Truth hurtsyou know I’m only joking goat
So if we go by his first 2 years rather than his last year when are we resigning dele ?
Nah Alex Scott from Bristol City is the 2023 Dele.Truth hurtsyou know I’m only joking goat

I can absolutely criticise us getting a manager like Mourinho 10 years too late. It should be a chairmans job to notice trends in football and it was obvious Mourinho was way past his best and a toxic influence on any club. Maybe they'll surprise me this time, i hope so, but 5 of the last 6 managers and the last 2 DoF out of work when appointed speaks of a pattern.(See point about Summer 2021.)
.....But at the same time; historically, both managers would have been at clubs they're unlikely to leave in order to come to us.
I refuse to criticise us for what is essentially getting long-desired managers (in Jose's case) when they finally become available to us.... I doubt we'd have score Conte is he was still happy at Inter either.
I think this is just one of those things where people are just digging around for things to take umbrage with.... Not entirely dis-similar to the increasing waffle about our medical staff being like unqualified backstreet surgeons or something when the truth lies somewhere else entirely.
Look at it another way.....
We're paying Conte 15m per year......
If De Zerbieis out guy then what's the diff. between paying him 10m p/a and a further (eg) 10m to Brighton than us paying Conte 30m for 2 years......?
These things can easily be justified at board level if they're keen enough on the manager in question.

It wasn’t just the last six months. Our football started dropping off after 16-17 and was a continual drop off for the next 2 and a half years until we were eventually fucking awful and he was sacked.
Completey agree and if Bayern sack Naglesmann for whatever reason and we nick it then great. Its not about buying someone out for the sake of it more about not appointing someone largely because its easy to do. I want them to make an informed decision on the best long term option, if we have to pay £20m to get him so be it.I want the right guy; the other end of things means nothing to me.................
