Luis Enrique: "I've not looked at any Spanish media since the WC. I only read English press... I would like to work in the Premier League but I want to go to a team that can achieve important things. So far I've only had offers from national teams, no clubs."
That statement rules us out!

Was optimistic we could get JN even with the Paratici news, but I'm not feeling so good about this anymore. Its gonna be Ryan Mason. No top coach in their right mind will come here with the absolute disaster Levy has lead us in to.

Yeah i think this shambles is going to put off a lot of potential choices. I think Naglesmann will go to Chelsea and i dont think De Zerbi will want to come either. Probably looking at Slot, Amorin, Glasner types.

I am inclined to agree.

For whatever reason Conte did not seem to be able to create any real sense of fluidity or coherence.

Let's see what a change of coach snd emphasis can bring.
We've tried that at least 4 times since Poch left. At some point you have to say enough is enough and change out the constants.

It seems that every time we swap out a manager, the hope is that they'll get a tune out of these players with a change of emphasis. The reality is that the constants need to be moved on. A change of emphasis doesn't work with these players, they're comfortable in the knowledge that, if they don't like the way the manager runs things, all they have to do is coast for long enough, then the manager will be moved on, giving them the opportunity to get their "clean slate," up their level enough to anchor that first team place again, then rinse and repeat.

Poch primarily got his success with young, hungry talent after moving on the constants.

We need to purge the old guard, get the hunger back in the side before the old guard attitude infects the young talent we do have.

We have senior players who have, quite frankly, given up on their desire to win. They had their opportunities and missed them. Consider the mindset of that Poch team with what we have now. The players wanted to make the opposition fear them, they went at them from the first whistle. When we went a goal down they never panicked, they knew they'd score and, more likely than not, go on to win the game. Now we go a goal down and you can see that belief is no longer there.

They spend more time telling us what they need to do than actually doing it.

We all know who they are and until they're gone, no coach will get that desire.

Maybe Sol's the only head-coach/manager willing to take the job and thus making Ince's prediction (or curse) come true :D

However, former Liverpool and Manchester United midfielder Paul Ince – Campbell’s ex-England teammate – believes the 44-year-old will get a crack at managing his former side in the future.

“Who knows, in years to come he might be managing Tottenham, fingers crossed,” he said on Sky Sports. But I wish him all the best.”

That's from November 2018. That would be the end of Levy.

Hire Bielsa. Pay him £12M/yr to manage the first-team and reorganize the academy.

Hire a charming, beautiful and buxom interpreter. Better yet, several.

Hire a reality-TV production company.

All or Nothing, Season 2. New episode available every Tuesday morning exclusively on SpursPlay™ only £5.99/month.
