At this point, it has to be someone that is coaching another team... that's the only way we'd be keeping Stellini as interim. My guess is that its Kompany, Slot, and then DeZerbi

och not being under consideration is good. He shouldn't have to come back and be the face of this mess that allows Levy to push on with his negligence of the sporting side of the club.

Poch would be a purely emotional hire to appease the fanbase. Rather than the hard truth of us needing a full on rebuild.

Poch should come back once we are through the first 3 years of the rebuild and we can realistically think about challenging again. But let someone else ride out the bad years.
I disagree Poch in my opinion is the perfect person to fix it. The other candidates named I have no idea why any of these should be in consideration over Poch:

Nagglesmann an incredibly difficult manager to get because he is in demand and does not seem to be that enamoured with the job.
Slot obviously doing well this season but has no prem experience and we have seen Dutch managers fail in the past when first coming over.
Kompany has only had one successful season in Management.
Potter has failed to rebuild Chelsea
Rodgers has spent consistently at Leicester until this season and has departed from the recruitment that made his team successful and brought in his own recruitment team, also choked twice in getting Champions League. Also failed after just over 3 years. Has a terrible European record except in the conference league.

Poch rebuilt our team the first time round and we qualified for the Champions League 4 times. We played in /2 Finals and 3 Semi Finals and been in the conversation for 2 league titles and looked good the first half of 18/19.

Personally I think Poch is the best choice and it is not for sentimental reasons.

Fuck me, I'd happily finish 8th with a guy like this in charge over the shite we've watched since Poch went.
We wouldn't even have finished 8th. The start would be slow, but he'd be good for us. His Lille side have started clicking recently, and are one of the most entertaining sides in Europe at the moment. Sure, we might've lost against City 5-1, but at least we would go for it for 38 games.

Poch can do a full rebuild. He did it the first time.

Chavs reportedly meeting face to face with Nagelsmann.

Meanwhile, Levy's going to sit on his duff watching Stellini blow Europe and get started in a month (or two)

In fairness to Levy, keeping Stella was better choice than bringing in Lampard.

If Nagelsmann wants to go to Chelsea given the mess they are in, good on him.

Whoever Chelsea don't take, will be extra motivated when we offer them the gig.

I want it to be bullshit, but if it were Poch he'd already be on the sideline. No reason for him not to have already been hired.
Not sure mate. Paratici thing maybe playing a part and the worse things get and the more the crowd turns there is increased chances of it being Poch. There is a Dan Kilpatrick article today saying pretty much the same thing. Can Levy really let this fester for another 6 or 7 weeks?

Player/manager is our only hope of keeping him?

Player/manager would be insanity. It's hard to imagine a bigger gamble on Levy's part.

Also, from Kane's perspective he's so extremely focused on his career as a player, and what that involves with goal records etc, that I cannot imagine a world where he would remove focus from his own training. At least not for a good few years still.

Maybe, and even this a giant maybe, player/assistant manager, where he's being groomed to take over and promised the chance to do so, after whoever we hire now. I can only imagine that working with Poch among the current prime candidates.

Edit: Also, has there been any reports of Kane taking coaching badges? That would be required first step, which really should already have been taken now, for it to be viable. Both in terms of Kane wanting to be a manager, and it being realistic.

Paratici. If Paratici fails his appeal on the 19th, I'd expect us to go for Poch. Him posting that he's in London every time we lose is just fuelling the fire.
So like me you are also hoping on Wednesday we can draw a line under Juventus on the Thames. The fact is we all know one thing and that is if Paratici continues in his role it will be even more chaos. The man has a possible criminal case and a second ban from football activities due to paying players under the table. I do not understand why he is still here.
