We asked both Poch and Rodgers to come before, but now they are available ???
I actually wonder if the board know what sort of manager hhey really want. So far yhey are just picking men who sre winners, but somewhere else !!
This current shit show is making Jose look like an attacking manager !!

What the board wants is a magical confluence of Paratici bringing them a name who is willing to take the job, who feels like a smart and forward thinking appointment to them, and who will be positively received by the fans and media.

They have no idea or plan of how to actually make that happen though. And note that the strategic thinking ends at the day of the managerial announcement.

Naglesmann and Enrique kinda-sorta deliver on that set of desires, so we'll blunder in that direction for a bit, who knows, maybe one of them is dumb enough to take our money.

I think he said he didn't want to make a decision until the summer. Nothing about not talking to clubs.

Nagelsmann "doesn’t want to take on a new coaching job for the time being", as he contemplates his sacking at Bayern. For now, the German "wants to take a break with family and friends" and a new job "will not be considered until summer at the earliest".
Bild.

well i wouldve thought having talks with Chelsea could be called considering a new job, and it's early spring

Maybe they are talking to his agent still?

Anyway if Nagelsmann looks at the mess Chelsea are in and sees them as a better option then he is seeing the history and established order of things.
He’s always going to see other clubs as permanently better than Spurs.

He’s an idiot and can fuck off

Chelsea will always have an advantage because manager candidates see that they will spend

How far and how fast did his career prospects drop that nobody mentions Oleg Gunnar Solskjaer for Premier League vacancies? I don't seriously offer him name as somebody I think Spurs should hire, but I do think he is flexible enough in his thinking he would find ways to get Spurs playing attractive football again. I think he's a nice guy with a good work ethic who got thrown in the deep end at Manchester United at exactly the wrong time to have that job.

And we should have turned the squad over but instead ENIC decided to cater to the players. This is blasphemy, but remember when Dav first got here... he was fucking good under Poch. He had replaced Toby. And then somehow Poch gets canned and Toby is back in the starting 11.
Sanchez's limitations were obvious. Poch asked to be Manager then couldn't do th4 DOF job that entailed. I'd still have him back, mind.

A more analytical manager might see that they just spent 600m on duff and put them on the longest contracts known to man.

What if you don’t want Mudryk as your left wing ?

What if you don’t want to play with a #6 like Enzo Fernandez?
Well, forget it because nobody is buying them and no player wants to leave a long contract like that unless it’s for more money.

They are unlikely to get more money outside the Prem unless they are a successful player at Chelsea…

It’s a brutal mess

Knowing Chelsea, they will loan them out and spend 300m more

Yeah the money is spent, sell a few to buy a centre forward and then the manager has to do the best with what he has got.

Here's the thing, though. A truly good manager, CF hole aside, would be able to make a very competitive team out of all these players. That's where managers earn their keep. Not when they come to a club and demand very specific players for very specific positions, like a recently employed manager did.

You will get binned for such honesty. Of course they would.

Conte in the round was abject.

Not one player has improved.

Here’s another, the thing I couldn’t get my head around the specific players for very specific positions was if say two of those specific players sustained injury and was out for a couple of months or longer, what then?
