Let's be real this fanbase have pined for Poch so much, it doesn't matter who the club get in because the minute it goes tits up with the new coach the fans will start crying for daddy again.
I don't care about playing this merry-go-round at all, I just want Spurs to put a competent and strategically thoughtful foot forward.
"Lie to a managerial candidate that he's going to have more funds than you actually plan to give him" is the opposite of that, and that seems to very clearly be our pitch to Enrique and Nagelsmann.

Tbh my gut feeling is Enrique is a dodgy appointment. Werent great with spain and the barcelona team virtually picked itself. Apparently it's what paratici recommends but if Enrique is a failure that arrivederci to paratici as well. Next week is appeal final decision so I guess we will know more about new manager next week.

I think people really overstate poch’s love for us.
If we’re not even offering him the gig for us how could we expect him to not take a job a Chelsea?

This is so bizarre. Enrique would suit them more and Nagelsmann/Poch would suit us more. But just imagine them getting Poch after everything. Bloody hell
It’s not bizarre, it’s complete bollocks. No one has a clue what’s going on inside Chelsea or Spurs. These muppets are just making stuff up on a daily basis purely to fill column inches.
He’s probably realised that the only way he can eventually get back to us is via Chelsea and decided he may as well get it over with.
