I wonder what Poundland Kroenke is up to today , my imaginary board meeting minutes below

1 } Round up every legend who are still on the payroll and instruct them to tell everyone I am nicer than Tom Hanks
2} Tell the PR team to push out , we have never spoken to and have no interest in any manager available , ready for when they tell us to jog on .
3} Repeat 2 for our DOF search
4} Check season ticket uptake status and decide on strategy to get fans / customers to renew
5} Pacify the fan base with an update on the truly fantastic Go Kart track
6) Review top secret info of businesses and residents financially struggling whose property could be cheaply picked up , so we can build a bowling alley .
7) Leave voicemail telling Joe Lewis we won the League and are in the CL final , let’s face it he has no idea { Genius Donna, salary increase incoming }
8} Bollock everyone at Lillywhite House because I can
9) Hang around the training ground like a dodgy fart
10). Steal Kane’s golf clubs so Gary Neville can’t try and sell him again in the close season

This is absolutely daft. Mason would get us relegated. He's probably less useful than Lampard.
What exactly has Rodgers done to bring on such irrational dislike?
His sides always try to play good football, and he has a record of actually improving teams.

Bottled 4th or over achieved getting 5th?
Small squads with only a few decent players.
In 19/20 they also got the league Cup semi and fa cup quarter finals, so a decent number of games and had a go in the cups
20/21 won the FA Cup, got to the knock out stages of the ropey league.

At any point, at Swansea, Liverpool, Celtic or Leicester did anyone complain about the style of the football?

Maybe you need to open your mind a bit,
as there are many worse options than Rodgers. We could get another Nono or the next De Boer. And with Levy, it could actually be one of those.

Not for me mate.

If you are ok with Rodgers, fair play.

I'll sit it out until it inevitably goes the way of Nuno.

I guess base is our favourite agent. Keep hearing about Base, are we just very close os something

Base is arguably the agency that we do the most business with alongside ICM Stellar.

Son, Richarlison and Porro are all Base players.

This is why we're shit
That Megacunt cuts his nose off to spite his own face by limiting deals with agents, refusing to pay wages etc.
Other, ambitious clubs, actually get on with it no matter who the agent is.

I think Postecoglou is worth a shot.

We need a manager with the right personality and principles of football. That is the key thing. If we had been linked with De Zerbi/Howe two years ago people on here would be foaming at the mouth that we were hiring from the bargain bin. Now those managers have turned out to potentially be elite and we are nowhere.

We have tried hiring managers with big egos and big club CVs and it’s been a disaster. We should be looking for a humble and hungry person who will be excited to come here. Someone who can translate that enthusiasm to the players and play a style of football that the players and fans can both enjoy.

Postecoglou might not have managed in the PL before but he has done great work at Celtic. Nobody can deny that. It is worth nothing that the last few failed managers we have hired have all come here after being sacked, whereas the good ones Redknapp and Poch had to be pinched from clubs where they were doing well. If Postecoglou has the right character and vision of football, his lack of PL experience shouldn’t mean much. Nuno had plenty of PL experience but it didn’t help him did it? Because he was a boring man with a boring idea of football.

Surely Potter is a PR disaster?
ANOTHER sacked Chelsea coach, probably the 2nd worst coach they've had above only Lampard. Who has a case to argue that he got them top 4 once.
Potter turned us down once before out of arrogance.
Fuck Potter. Fuck Levy. He has NFI what he's doing.

If you want him to consider any coach, you need the media to start a rumour, as outside of the PL bubble, he won't know who anyone is.

Good post, beat me to it saying a lot of that. He tries and plays good football, seems likeable with a strong personality. It may or may not work and there are others i would have preffered but from what we have left i'd rather take the punt on someone who at least has the traits that have worked here (upto a point) before. Similar to why i thought Slot would be a good choice.
