That's the best scenario, no one is having that kind of patience though, kinda understandable too.
yeah i get the anger and impatience. I feel every bit of it myself.... I just can't see any solution to this mess..

The only hope is that this team is young and we can build on it and that Ange has set some solid foundations in terms of style of play.... But thats it. The short term pain is horrific, losing every close game or battle we get into and not being able to show any sort of resilience... We probably need to punt on Iroala in the Summer

Wasn't the goal a nice epitome of most of the things that are wrong under Ange?

-A fullback receives the ball, with his back towards the goal, in the middle of opposition's half for no good reason
-No central midfielder stays back and provides cover just in case there's a turnover and they try breaking through in transition
-Aforementioned fullback indeed turns it over, they indeed get out in transition
-A drill-like break leads to a simple goal

Who hasn't seen that coming?

Awful but totally expected result. Nuno showing what you can do if backed properly. And I don’t mean signings. I mean having leadership that backs managers fully and professionally. Leadership that respects the football aspect of the football club.

The real problem is not Hoddle, Jol, Redknapp, Poch, Mourinho, Nuno, Conte, Ange… the real problem is our club has gone, the leader of our admin function has turned us into a sports business for his and his investment fund’s gain, the football doesn’t matter and we’re going nowhere.

Anyway. I don’t care. I don’t care. I’ve got my beer in the sideboard here.

Cheers all. Forget about this shambolic club.

I hear it but it that's your scenario then there isn't really much point of sacking Ange, we won't learn anything with Mason in charge.
But Ange in 18 months hasn’t learnt that the Premier League isn’t one to mess about with.

This league needs adaptability and yet he thinks his style is so superior he can do it against everyone.

Mason will likely be shit, but I’m sure he wouldn’t leave the defense exposed time and time again.

And yet we score shitloads of goals.

Out players are perhaps lacking in overall quality but overall it’s not our offensive prowess that’s the issue.

That's because under Ange we are an overly attacking team and need to create a lot of chances to score the goals we do......my point is that a new manager might tighten up the team defensively but there will be a trade off in tne attacking play and we wont score as many. Net result will be that we will still finish anywhere between 5th and 10th and still win nothing.

5th and 10th would mean there had been an improvement, no?

Willing to roll the dice all for a novice manager who may or may not be worse than Ange Postecoglu...

Drop me out, thank you 😆
