Job done.

This game was a story of our attackers fluffing their lines. Pretty much everyone up there (including the wing backs) wasted at least one great opening.

We should have had 5 goals today.

Forest had the crowd behind them and plenty of possession but we mostly defended well.

The equaliser felt inevitable after the penalty miss but once again Rich comes on and changes it.

As much as his limitations on the ball piss me off - another clean sheet for Dav, fair play.
 
Enjoyable ending.

Richarlison has to start next game. That sort of performance needs to be rewarded. Son, who we all love, can rest up and look to make a mark when he comes on.

Just have to have that competition. Think it’s one of the main things we’ve been missing.
 
Great win.

The game isn't all about possession, we defend well and look threatening on the counter. Should have scored another 3 really whilst limiting Forest to hardly anything.

We do need to be better on the ball when we have it though. We can look sloppy but these tactics require such precise passing as we're passing the ball around so deep.

There's a reason we have only lost 1 game in about 15 and that's because the tactics work. You just have to believe in it and not get frustrated when sitting back for long periods.
 
AND the penalty should have been retaken. Henderson's right foot was MILES off his line when the ball was struck. Whatever happened to that rule? Whatever happened to VAR?

Exactly! We literally dominated shots and on target and we kept them just passing sideways and back. They never looked threatening especially in the second half.

It really feels like Conte is holding us back a bit. Spence looked good today, Bissouma and Richie have looked good every time on. Changes are needed earlier in games.

Really liked what Richarlison offered but still think in a game like West Ham, Conte will go for Son. Especially given how he played vs them last season. Imagine that will be the 'last chance' to not get dropped.
 
ok, so we can all calm down now (for a few days)!!

West 'Am next, no doubt they'll be buzzing to stick it to the Jews midweek...
but we've got other plans!!

It’s called game management. They looked horrible second half. I’ll trust a serial winner in Conte over some guy from St Louis
