Yeh great, let’s see where they end up. It’s a quarter of the season.

He was the wrong fit for us totally, I don’t see much point in taking any interest in what he does subsequently. Who really cares?
It's not particularly intresting but it is intresting to see the narrative both Spurs fans and Levy seemed to buy into. He was done dirty by Paratici and Levy because how you're appointed tells your team how invested the high ups are in your tenure. He was told not to play his favoured system ( it's boring AF by the way let's be clear) and was not lavished with funds. Yet the idea he was out his depth and that our current coach is way better is steeped in frankly fantasy. I've seen him show more savvy in getting a result over the line with way more alacrity than I've ever seen from Postecoglou, and be honest have you ever heard him say anything anywhere near as fucking stupid as Ange did regards subs or defending? As we stand today he looks the better able to work the EPL. Where will we end up? Just gubbed by Brighton and beaten comfortably by win-less palace. I think his appointment was actually more justified at the time than Ange's.

Well yeah, but that’s the point though isn’t it.

He’s been mocked relentlessly after that on here and now he’s ahead of us.

It's just a bit of a silly argument.

He wasn't ridiculed on here when he was at Wolves and from what I've seen, he hasn't been ridiculed on here when he's been at Forest.

His tenure at Spurs was ridiculed because it was the worst football most had seen us play since Santini, the results were rubbish and we never seemed to be able to win by more than a goal. It was never anything personal towards Nuno.

Like I said, good luck to him. He'll get Forest a nice mid table finish and they'll he happy with it.

Cant say I am all surprised by the reactionary comments from some though with comparisons towards Nuno and Ange.As always expected after a drop of points.

Reactionary LMAO we’re a quarter of the way through the season sat in 8th with as many losses as wins. Two points ahead of an in crisis West fucking Ham and the same amount ahead of a shite United who just sacked their coach.

Every time we drop points these absolute melonheads will talk about melting or being reactionary as if we don’t lose as consistently as we win.

Nuno also seemed to have been a desperation hire right as the players were about to return and someone had to be put up to manage them, we went into a summer window without a manager and got a glorified caretaker in the end

Absolutely.

He was thrown to the wolves from day one. Spent all summer chasing other managers. Conte, Gattuso, Ten Hag, Fonseca and whoever else. Only to end up with our 8th or so choice.

Whether the ridicule was justified or not, we're talking about Spurs fans. Who cry at the sight of any loss. He was never going to succeed here because the fans wouldn't have let him.

The fans wouldn’t have let him succeed? Hahaha….What a load of fucking bollocks. He was the wrong man in the wrong place, the fans had fuck all to do with it.

I guess the fans also includes you then. Because it reads as though you are rather smugly excluding yourself from this judgement on your club’s fans.

Levy made a mockery of that whole summer, knowing we needed a manager well in advance but still not being able to get one.

As if fans have ANYTHING to do with how successful a club is or not, lol.

There's an easy way to get fans onside - win football matches.

Yep another disaster class. The fan base was also culpable because they saw the very public debacle of the search. So the moment it went wrong no one was prepared to give him the kind of patience that Ange has been extended, why?

Nuno was the wrong coach but he is not a bad one. He may prove to be a better EPL one than Ange. Our away record under this coach is as bad as I can remember since the 1990's. So think fans will have get past the recieved wisdom of Ange good Nuno bad, its simple bias. I wish to God I was wrong but there is a growing body of evidence that we have got the technical ability of the coach wrong.

Interesting thread but I don't know where this nice guy tag has come from the Joe Hart incident was cvnty and he was extremely negative in pressers and impassive on the sideline similar to the current clown (sorry I meant to say messiah)
