It's less of an achievement when it's inherited wealth, like his.
Wealth builders do tend to give 2 fucks about what they look like - they're aware of the importance of making good impressions, how making good impressions lead to opportunities. That doesn't mean that they wear Versace, but you rarely see them looking like slobs.

Now out of the induced coma, and I *think* the surgery has been completed.
Apparently he ruptured his intestine. He literally bust a gut trying to reach the cross.
Stupid thing is, it was one of those offsides where the lino kept his flag down. Was always going to happen where a serious injury was caused thanks to this ruling.
On another note, apprently the surgery he had has a 9% mortality rate, although obviously that's made up mostly of older, unfit individuals with other pre-existing conditions. But it certainly wasn't a "small" operation. Sounds like they left the wound open, for a couple of days, I guess in order to check that they had successfully repaired the damage which in itself is potentially life threatening.
Glad he seems to have come through it all OK and hope he can get back on the pitch in a reasonable time frame.

They were riding their luck for the majority of last season to begin with. Most underlying metrics of theirs were portraying a mid-table team at best, not one that actually finished 7th with 65 points.
If another key player or two (notably Murillo) follow suit, it might very well be another season spent hovering around the relegation zone for them. Even relegation might be a possibility, depending on how the newcomers do.

Harsh on him but he's a decent manager for a mid sized club and he'll land up somewhere, as the geezer above me says his stock will be at an all time high. Despite stumbling at the end of last season they had no right to be challenging for CL places last season.

Nuno is a very nice, humble man, much warmer than at first glance. And he's a very good PL manager, his football just ain't the sexiest.
Levy did him proper dirty and Mr Marinakis is just an absolute disgrace.
