I wasn't totally anti-Nuno, but the decision to take off Lucas today blew my mind, and not in a good way!
He's a decent enough guy, but so out of his depth, that it is bordering on cruelty to keep him in the job.
I don't think I remember such a toxic atmosphere at the end of a game. I'm not one for booing our players or manager, but I fully understand why people did.

No, but if Conte had this squad, we wouldn't have been beaten 3-0 by fucking Palace. We wouldn't be humiliated in the game we look forward the most when the fixture list comes out, simply because Conte would kill them. We wouldn't have been out played by Ole's shit United. He wouldn't win the league, of course he wouldn't, but we wouldn't be served the shit that we are being served now. Even José Mourinho was better than this prick, and that's saying something...

Well there's a reason nuno is in charge of this squad and not conte. And it comes down to what is the cheapest option. So while nuno may be out of his depth he was the only one willing to take on this monstrosity of a squad and club. Seriously take kane and son out of this side and what is there in terms of quality.

Yep exactly

I actually quite like a few of our players

Lloris - Great GK
Romero - Could be a rock at the back
Emerson - settling in well
Reguilon - Good potential
Skipp - Had a good season so far
Hojbjerg - well meh but still
Ndombele - when he's on his game
Son/Kane - Elite players being shackled under a shit manager.

We've got a good enough core. Yes he could've had better signings but this squad itself should do good enough even with a relatively inept manager. We would be better when these players are playing under a better manager.
I think that’s a very fair point. Add the younger players who will be hopefully at a decent level next season. We just need someone to motivate this group for the rest of the season. Just basically get them happy playing football. A Redknapp would be good for me. Short term contract whilst we source a proper manager.

Let's see:

- A World Cup winning captain, possibly top 3 goalies in the Premier League.
- La Liga's LB of the season when we bought him.
- Serie A's defender of the season.
- A Brazil international, that was extremely promising and would start at Barca if they had any money.
- A Euro 2020 team of the tournament midfielder.
- A Copa America winner, that looked impressive in the process.
- A midfielder that Conte himself wanted at Inter for 2 years running.
- A workhorse that while he might lack a bit in quality, he makes up for it in fight and determination, a bit like Moses at Chelsea.

That's 8 players, without Son and Kane, and I haven't included players like Skipp, Gil etc. simply because they are too young. Squad needs work, but it's not a shit squad to begin with. It's a squad that lacks depth, but Conte was never one to use a lot of players, so that argument fails.

Wait.

Are you suggesting that the terrorist term only applies to darker people?

When I was a kid it was IRA/Splinter groups, Spanish separatists, Timothy mcveigh/Oklahoma. Etc. It can apply to anyone. I’m not going to let the media change what it means.

I’d catogorise what Barton said a bit more seriously because he’s trivialising a specific event.
Don't you dare!!
I'm saying the misuse of the word terrorist is the problem... Not who it's aimed at!

Fact is, regardless of his absolutely bizarre decisions and line-ups, the players aren't responding to him and it's clear have little to no faith in him. Simply has to go.

Bit confused as to why anyone is applying the word terrorist in a football environment

A terrorist in football is what ? Someone who destroys something within the club after infiltration…. by deception

Big complicated to shoehorn a crappy and controversial term to deride someone

Reguilon on the whole poor to this point in a spurs shirt. Lo celso fucking average to this point in a spurs shirt. Hugo yes quality. Tanguy talented but average up to this point in a spurs shirt. Emerson jury out not been that impressed so far myself. Romero mixed bag so far but early. Hojbjerg been good. I'm not seeing the quality in this squad that you are and I think results on the pitch since pochs last season reflect the overall quality we have. Put klopp or tuchel in charge of this side without kane and Son you still ain't getting above conference level. In fact you'll struggle to get top half which is what it will be this season no matter who you replace nuno with.

Today really was a nightmare. Nuno once again showed absolutely no clue tactically and he looks like a man devoid of confidence; he really does need to be put out of his misery before he does any more damage.

If Paratici thought Nuno was suitable for the club then he needs to pack his bags as well.

What next is less of a question when the current coach seems so out of his depth. Ryan was doing a much better job than this after Mourinho departed, so make him caretaker again. Can't be worse than what we see now - how can we go from having loads of shots on goal to basically none with virtually the same players?????

It really irritates me how I could always see and say that Nuno wasn’t going to work out just by watching football and the cunts in charge earning millions couldn’t see the same as me, a cunt watching at home knows.

I see some people mention Conte, I was praying we'd get him in the summer. No chance for us to get him now, but I hope we could. As a thought experiment, what would a Conte XI be with this group of mugs? I think he'd get way more out of them than Nuno, but centre-midfield would be the headache position to sort out, all of our combinations look shit. If he could get something out of them, he'd have half a chance at making a decent team from the current group...maybe.

Lloris
Tanganga Romero Rodon (?)
Skipp
Royal Ndombele Hojbjerg Reguilon
Kane Son
Think he'd get a tune out of Reg. If he could get one out of Ndombele, I think Kane and Son would work ok, they did just last season. No way they became shit overnight. Back 3 is a bit ropey, we need to buy another centre half and one of Skipp/Hojbjerg would need an upgrade too most likely.

But anyway, no chance he comes here.

Well put. It's actually liking Nuno as a human being that makes me want him to be out the door ASAP - this isn't going to get any better and it'd just be sad to watch the crowd go for him when Don Levy is really to blame.
