Too keep Nuno and his team for any longer is lunacy. The United game was dog shit and so was the Woolwich and Palace games. The team lack any belief and the plodder in charge is awful.

Don’t worry lads and lasses Levy, Paratici and the board and planning fixes as we speak.

So sack Nuno and put Mason in place for two games, then boot for another manager after the international break? I'm not sure that's better TBH.
Thats what caretaker managers do. The players had no respect for Nuno before this, do you honestly think they'll be bothered after his future has been discussed for 48 hours by the board? Mason did ok-ish before and i'd be more confident of getting a result in those 2 games than with a dead duck. Maybe we'd even have a shot on target.

There's more to it than this. Kane is struggling. At the moment he needs a Redknapp, a Poch or even a Mourinho to have a long talk with him. Nono doesn't strike me as any kind of a man manager.
I agree - it’s mental and football but it doesn’t matter who the manager is, they can motivate him all they like, no ball = no goals

Well I for one am glad it's panning out like this.

I thoroughly enjoyed the chaotic shambles of the spring-summer, the embarrassment of seeing us dash aimlessly from pillar to post, seeing our name dragged through the mud by the media and rival fans.

I'm delighted to get the chance to relive those heady days

Whilst they are clearly inept I just don't believe there isn't a strategy behind the Nuno appointment.

In the summer it was clear we needed the DOF place before that person bought in a manager of their choice. That however didn't prevent us talking to possible candidates in anticipation so we were armed with info for Fabio.

I believe this preliminary groundwork was blown out of all proportion by the media. Do I think the club handled it well? No. Have I lost hugest respect for Levy and ENIC this last couple of years? Yes.

So i'm not an ENIC/Levy fanboi but I can see how the situation escalated and became the circus it did
You don’t say “ free flowing football “ & hire a bloke who is a worse version of Jose. We go from DoF to no DoF, attac minded manager to super defensive , chequebook managers to frugal managers. Whatever plan , if they have one , they have when it comes to spending it falls apart. Then , as they are business inept , it costs them a fortune to fire & hire again. It’s rinse & repeat.

As I said earlier , they seem to want everything for nothing & that changes plans constantly . This time they will have to dig deep into their pockets as they can see the “ customers” are not happy. They’ll haggle & cut off their nose once again.

If we end up with Mason or anyone of that ilk, then the toxicity will return quickly. Levy can’t get another yes man in . If he does , I think the scenes seen at the United game will be nothing to what will happen.
