Only thing against that is who we can get in to replace him.

If we sack him and get Conte/Potter then yes.

If we sack him and get Mason's mates for 30 games then there's no point as it will be equally shit.
It won't though, that's what makes Nono even more pathetic, at least some of the games under Mason were enjoyable. Literally nothing about this dipshit's reign has been.

November break is coming, he will be binned. I guarantee it. There is no reason to continue.

Big teams win matches by trying to create more chances than the opponent. Chances that Kane and Son can finish. What kind of moron of a manager would try to play this fucking Burnley-ball with two of the best forwards in the world in your XI?

We had zero shots in the second half today. Zero. How can you win a match without taking a shot? Nuno is just happy not to lose. Just like Mourinho. Not losing is more important than winning. That is not the way that Tottenham should be playing. We should be focused on winning. There are managers at lesser clubs like Brentford and Brighton who play to win every match by playing aggressive football. That is what every successful Tottenham manager has done in recent years. Nuno and his football don’t belong here.
I agree. He won’t be manager after the international break. Lose to United and Everton and he’s done. I would not be shocked if he went before then too. But it is Terrifying to imagine Steve Hitchin and Ryan Mason for the rest of the season…..who comes next ?

Only those posters who cannot see past their support would have expected us to win today.

So few reasons to have believed it was possible and yet some of the posts before the game simply revealed no football insight or understanding.

He's a dead man walking now....

Nuno shouldn't have been given the job in the first place... but not his fault... i'd have taken the job for that money, but i'd also be shit at it!

He either needs to do the decent thing, and admit his limitations... or we need to do the decent thing, as a club, and admit our failings in hiring him in the first place!

....either way, it's a shit show!

Pochettino at Southampton established a high press, entertaining team which had many of the qualities of a team Spurs fans want to see. He also went in hard and started making major changes early on when he arrived with us, so some turmoil was expected.

Nuno played shit on a stick football at every club he's ever been at, and has barely made changes lineup wise. There's no progression, no playstyle taking hold, just a void. There's zero reason to stick with Nuno the way we did with Pochettino, the precedent is there that he plays this kind of dire football.

The only valid reasons for keeping him are because we might put other managers off by sacking one this quickly, and the poor alternatives. I have zero faith in Nuno. None.
Which is a fair take. I've said all along I want to see some sort of indication from Nuno that this is going somewhere...and its not looking like it is.

But, who are we going to appoint? We should have gone for Potter, but if Levy's appointments prove anything its that he's a bit obsessed with importing continental managers/DoFs.

I just can't see who we can appoint, unless something happens and Fonseca doesn't get the Newcastle job. I don't think Gerrard would come (nor am I particularly convinced), and the idea of Fat Frank managing Spurs is cringey.

May have to play out the season, let Nuno go his way and take another run at Potter/Ten Hag

Unless a top manager is available we are stuck, there ain’t no temps around and even Eddie Howe would want some assurances.

We have improved in that Nuno at least knows his best side. Problem is Nuno can’t coach attacking patterns, our movement up top is poor and that is on the manager not the players. Watch Brighton or Brentford to see shit players coached well and moving with a clear goal in mind.

Until we get an elite manager and back him we ain’t going anywhere. Talking about Gil being to small or Son having a poor touch etc hides the real issue. Liverpool have great players but it’s Klopp that is by a mile their most important person, Salah is nothing compared to Klopp, we by contrast are a poorly coached team. Man for man we are still better than West Ham but Moyes is a much better manager than Nuno. That’s your difference!
Even Watford last night on MOTD looked sharp and inventive up front and went for it unlike us

Yes Levy is a problem. Enic in general is a problem.

But given the exact team he’s been provided, we should still be better than this. And that’s where it falls on Nuno. He should be at least showing better performances from this starting 11 than we are getting.

I have no delusions that this is a top 4 roster, but it’s also not this bad.

You're watching us play shite, stale possession football from back to front and you're still going to sit there and actually pretend that the only reason it's boring is because of Harry Kane?

So fucking stupid. You must know you're wrong, nobody is this dense.
No I said we’ve changed our style which is something you said we hadn’t.

But putting Kane further up only works against shit. Like you was told.

Kane does not entertain. He is a boring footballer, often when scoring too.

Sometimes, against shit, he will break free and make an exciting finish. More often than not, he’ll just put one away that’s on a plate.

This is something you like to see up top so don’t complain too hard. Despite the flaws of this team, we could do much better with someone like Vardy, who actually entertains and has energy despite scoring less last season.

He does however turn up against the big teams

Thing is we hired him on the back of apparently Paratici wanting him. Still goes back to Levy.

I agree with the premise, the squad could be better but it’s being poorly used, mainly because the manager can’t coach modern attacking patterns.

Yeah I'm not interested in you turning this thread in to the Kane thread as well, thanks. You want to blame all the flaws of the team on a striker? We looked stale without Kane as well - the Watford and Wolves games were dreadful. We managed to win but the football was exactly the same. Vitesse was depressing as well, no Kane in sight.

You wanna deflect from how bad the overall team is by pushing your agenda against a singular player as hard as you fucking can. It's all you bang on about. The manager picks him and the manager sets out how the team plays around him.

If you can't talk about Nuno without making it all about Kane as well, don't fucking bother.

You expect a manger to play good attacking football with one striker who’s shit?

I think others are a lot more confused.
I think we're all a bit confused...

Levy has muddied the waters of support, with spreadsheets...

I want a successful FOOTBALL club... I don't give a shit about a successful business model...

the fact that 'apparently' the two need to go hand in hand these days confuses the hell out of me...

especially when you can run your business into the ground (Ken Bates/Man City/Mike Ashley) then get a disgustingly filthy rich money man from Russia/UAE/Saudi Arabia to bail you out doesn't strike me as a good business model... more of a gambler that got lucky and won the lottery...

if THAT'S the case, then count me out... until WE strike gold and 'win a benefactor'.... but fuck me, who in the Middle East is gonna take on a 'Jewish' club like Tottenham? We're fucked... unless Jeff Bezos starts giving a shit about football soccer and decides to buy us.... which he won't, 'cos he's too busy putting William Shatner into space!!

This is all on Jose Mason Nuno…………………

How hard is it to understand? Nuno is a clone of Jose, who is already starting to stink the place up at Roma, as he ended up doing at us, Chelsea and United. Dreadful manager now who managed to delude people like you in to backing him.

Mason has NOTHING to do with the discussion. He was a caretaker appointment, a guy in his mid twenties who has never done anything like this before, and we still got more entertaining performances with him as manager than Nuno or Jose.
