nuno obviously clueless but this squad needs gutting and has for a while.

dele
winks
dier
sanchez

get them wage thiefs out the door along with nuno and we will instantly see some relief. same old shit letting us down and for some reason they still get fucking game time. beyond strange! how a 50m pound defender who was apparently the best defender in italy last year is on the bench for eric fucking donkey dier and that clown sanchez is fucking criminal!

I'm 66 and a Spurs fan since the age of 9,we have had a lot of set backs over the years but I've never felt so sad or ashamed of my team than today, Nuno needs to go, not good enough and the players need to take a long look at themselves, they are paid well but aren't earning their wages, surely there own self respect should mean they try harder but they don't seem to care. Thoroughly down tonight can't see any light at the end of the tunnel, maybe we need to buy some English players who know the premiership and not foreign players who don't, everything at Spurs seems to be done on the cheap, would believe we are a rich club, maybe the owner needs to put his hand in his pocket
Excellent post.

Whoever saying a back 3 is too defensive needs to fuck off out the club or at the very least step away from football matters. It’s not true, and even posters on here say it is I will fight them
I used to think that playing with 3 CBs was negative, but I have since changed my mind. If you have got CBs who are good on the ball, it can be sexual.

Game v Wolves on Wednesday when one of their players got concussed noticed tv camera panning a few times on Nuno. He just stood with arms folded for the whole of the 5-6 mins. I found that quite odd. Surely a time for Nuno to beckon over a player or two and give them some tactical advice. Poch did this a lot. Quick word in ear during a brief break in play I would have thought was best but to stand there rather aloof just seemed strange? General in game tactical changes seem almost non existent with Nuno

Tottenham with Kane and Son.

Barcelona fans want him back. Valverde is a quality manager and Spurs are not above turning his services down if he is willing.
Spurs with Kane and Son? Really?

WE are not that Barcelona, we don't have anyone like that Messi......The fans have had enough of defense first managers after Jose and now Nuno. Im sure Valverde is a nice bloke and is too good to be out of work but he is not the right fit for this club and especially not right now.

Valverde would have us playing with a plan and a functioning system. He's not the defensive manager people think that he is and his attack was not build on Messi and Messi only.

Farke odds far too short imv. Norwich aren’t overly bothered about yo-yoing. I think they are quite open about that fact.

we got donkey dier and sanchez, i actually think they must be among the worst on the ball in the league. dier you can tell actually rates himself trying to play little chipped balls with his weaker foot the muppet, yet they all end up landing on an opponents head..fucking clown. then you got sanchez who when he gets the ball you can smell the shit coming out of his arse a mile away.

It’s what we do in terms of replacement that gives me pause for thought. If we have a coherent plan from top to bottom then great. Pull the trigger. Until that is true I’d say hold fire.
This

If we're sacking him to bring in Ryan Mason as caretaker.... Then I'd rather take my chances with Nuno.

Time will tell how screwed we are but surely we're not at the point where Ryan is a serious option for the remaining 32 games.

I wouldn't mind changing to an unknown European coach. The new Potter from Bodø/Glimt, Kjetil Knutsen or som other coach that plays attacking, attractive football.

We have a manager who is used to setting up and coaching a 3 at the back system. We have multiple defenders who are used to playing in a 3 at the back system. Yet we don't use it.

At this point it is worth a gamble.

It's really not like we can play any worse - shipping 9 goals against Palace, Chelsea and Woolwich is probably about as bad as it gets.
If you've shipped 9 goals in 3 games it makes sense to "shore up the defence".

Hugo
Romero, Sanchez, Dier
Emerson, Pierre, Skipp, Reguilon
Tanguy
Kane, Son
Emerson can be switched out for Tanganga. And Tanguy or Son can be switched out for Gil. But some form of variation of that is probably our strongest 11 right now.
