Then what's Levy and Co been? They're the ones killing the club.

I mean what sort of idiot really thought "Head Coach" with zero say in the team was a good idea?

And not only that, but to have Jose Mourinho, who literally demands players in order to make a guaranteed cup winning squads came in to the same role?

We could have Pep come in to Spurs and he'd still fail if he wasn't allowed the players he wanted.

No, we need a proper manager who's allowed to do what he needs to do without the interference of these administration dicks like Paratici and Hitchens and even Levy himself.
Yes- Levy and Enic are their own kind of cancer too.

Mou came into this with it never really having a chance of working out. But he got negative almost immediately, and Levy let him abuse players and wreck morale for far too long.

Both cancers in their own ways. We were comorbid.

10 games played and I think we looked impressive in 1.
That was against an unfit City that flattered us really so I'm not overly convinced it was as impressive as I first thought.

Tactics, subs, mid game adaptation has been shocking.
Yesterday was the least emotion evoking defeat I have witnessed against that lot which unfortunately speaks volumes about my current disconnect with this set of players, manager, owners - the club.

I never wanted to get rid of Poch and Jose at the times when the got sacked, but I am getting close with Nuno even though we're only 6 games in. This team just looks devoid of ideas, I don't know what our style is and even when we were falling apart in the first half he just stands there like a statue as if it's going to fix itself.

TBH though, I don't think we can do it yet. It was the wrong call to bring him in but if they believed in him enough to give him a contract they have to show a bit of faith with him, especially with the off-field dramas he has had to deal with. Plus the main thing is I can't see anyone available that we could feasibly bring in. No point sacking him and having Mason in charge. Give him a little bit of time (and I mean a little bit, if we get a two more games like that then I'll join the Nuno Out camp) and lets see if he learns how to pick a team. The last time I saw a team as bad as this it was the AVB/Sherwood team (this one is probably worse but comparable), that team gave a chance to Kane as well as a lot of other younger players. Use this time to give minutes to the future. Gil and Skipp should be starting, get Romero bedded in and figure out what your central defensive pairing is. Get Dele in the kiosk selling hot dogs.

waiting until an international break is no good as many of the platers would be away from the club returning with 1 days training so the new coach would not have time to get basic ideas to players
(as i said I would have sacked him when we played in portugal at start of augest just look at the subs bench he put out then)
he needed to go yesterday, Levy needs to bite the bullit yes it will cost more money and more egg on Levy's face but it has tobe done

There's no plan.
We are lowest in the league for so many key metrics.
There's no progress or promise or anything to be proud of.

The players aren't receptive to Nuno's tactics either. It's time to go!

I thought maybe my initial reaction was emotion-driven. But no. After good night sleep I stand my ground.

This fucker has to go. I hope he was not allowed to teams bus back to our base even.

It is unheard of that you would have a manager who would just stand there and witness with glass-eyes how Tottenham Hotspur gets pathetically destroyed by our archrivals Woolwich. Just standing. Maybe even enjoying?!? But with ZERO CHANGE. He was not giving directions, he was not motivating, he was not changing the shape and he let Alli to jog around for 45 minutes when it was obvious that our midfield was so-so easy to walk through.

Even with bad start we could have saved something. And if not, at least one should have tried.
But he failed to understand to ANY extent what such humiliation in the 1st half means for club. What it means for fans.

No way back from that. Really - even Mou seemed to understand London derby and its importance. Even if it did not work out, he never seemed so ignorant as NES did yesterday.

Let's cut the losses and sack him. We can't let anyone get away from shitting on our club in such fashion.

Don’t disagree with any of this BUT I just can’t see Levy or Parasiti pulling the trigger this early…

‘We’ all knew what a terrible appointment NES was at the time and we all know that this is only going to get worse.

I definitely agree that Harry is a issue now. Not to sound like I am defending Nuno too much here. But before Harry was inserted back into the team, it looked like Nuno had the rest of the squad on side. They were pulling in one unified direction. Not saying that he is intentionally tanking Nuno, but if he doesn't want to be here his bad mood is probably spreading to the rest of the team since he is a dominant figure.

If any manager that comes in is going to be at the mercy of Kane then Kane needs to be dealt with.
I agree

Other players must be looking at Harry and thinking well if he can’t be arsed why should I

Unacceptable as they should be professional footballers but that’s human nature

Yesterday they were all clueless about what they were supposed to be doing and just jogging around aimlessly going through the motions

Exceptions were Gil and Skipp who put the effort in

The rest were a disgrace to the shirt

Disgraceful stuff so far. All the hallmarks of mid to lower table finishing.
At least in the 90s we had a shit squad. Nuno is achieving this standard with a squad full of internationals and some of the finest players in the world.
Spurs 'weren't good enough' against Woolwich - Nuno. Daaaa; you don't say. Another disaster of a decision by Levy. And even though Kane is a wonderful player; Levy should have let him go. We could have got 3 quality strikers for the fee we could have got. When is enough enough. Disgraceful

surely if Levy is such a great business man he would sack the manage (& Parasiti) making the change early saves in the long run

Levy thinks short term for football not long term, that is how he has always acted. He thinks long term on the infrastructure.

Levy reminds me of my old landlady, she wasn’t awful but would hire the cheapest builder possible then when they fucked up have to spend a load more fixing their fuck up with a expensive builder when she could have saved money by getting the good builder at the start.

Levy goes mostly cheap then in the long run loses more money via lack of CL qualification or having to replace a cheap player with a player we should have gotten from the beginning, in this case it’s the manager not the player though. Penny wise pound foolish.

The culture in the squad starts at the top and trickles down. Right now we probably have a split in the dominant voices. With Harry pulling in one direction, and guys like Hugo, Son and Dier pulling in another.
