The Kane one is interesting. Put it this way. If Conte was in charge then Kane would have been dropped by now.

If Conte was in charge there would be a high level of commitment from Kane because he would be playing for an elite, winning manager. Let's not forget that the most enthusiastic supporter of Mourinho from within the dressing room was Kane. He would be excited to work with a winner. Conte would also not be afraid to give him a serious roasting if he thought he was being a twat.

Nuno simply doesn't have the same aura. I doubt a single member of our squad was excited to work with him when he was hired. What can a manager like him say to Harry to get him out of this stupor he's in? Conte would tell him "we will win the league together" and Kane might believe him. Nuno can't say shit.

So we've had a bad start to the season, whooope doo...

We now have the best defender from the top Italian league - We don't
We have a better RB than Aurier - We don't
We got rid of Sissoko - Can't argue there
We don't have Jose the manager that so many here hated - We have his weaker alternative
Kane is acting like a twat, but that may not continue - And it may. Apparently he never would behave that way at all.
Jose's experience at winning games was to throw away leads al too often. - Nowadays we don't seem to get leads
Ended up with Mason's mates. - Who did better than Jose and Nuno.

I don't think we're a worse team this season, we've just had a poor start except the City match, and half of Chelsea match.

Anyway I didn't say we're going into Europa positions but that is probably our goal, rather than CL positions etc. So the BEST we can hope for is 7th or 6th imo.

Also, when the Danish team was surrounding Eriksen to make a barrier to protect him, they called for a player who was at the other side of the pitch to join them, instead he went and had a drink.

I wonder who that player was?
Mate, I hate him as a footballer but that’s an exceptional circumstance and I don’t think you can blame him for giving CE some space

Laporta sacking Pimienta from their B team is coming back to haunt him now. The almost perfect replacement was already in house.

On that note. Pimienta would be an interesting name to take over for Nuno. He's had the Barca youth or reserve team for years but is now on the market.

Why not Koeman? I guess if we can tap him up it would save Barcelona some money....
Koeman's PL rep basically tanked with his Everton run. I don't think the Spurs fans would take to him despite his brand of football being perfectly okay.

He's not a bad manager. His stints at Feyenoord, Southampton and the Dutch national team shows that he knows what he is doing. And his Barca stint has been as good as can be expected in all that chaos.

But I don't see Tottenham fans taking to him and his rather abrasive personality would not work.

I don’t think people care about personality after the tenures of the Portuguese dwarf and now the Portuguese Pulis. Actually trying to win a game and score a goal will do for me

When Nuno inevitably goes, Koeman wouldn't be a bad move at all on a years contract. Give him the season and see if he can steady the ship, it's a better interim option than Mason. Whether he'd actually want that is another thing, because there's no way we should be appointing him longer term.

He looks completely burned out so if I were him I would just go on vacation the moment Laporta sacks him.

Pimienta however would be a interesting name to look at. He coached the Barca youth and B-teams for years and had them playing Pep inspired football. But Laporta sacked him to install his own guy. So he is free for the taking if he wants a first team job.

I really wouldn't fancy being someone who had never managed at senior level and having to contend with Levy and the mess our squad is in right now. Huge challenge even for a very experienced manager.

Well I assume Paratici would know the situation with all that...
