I think the way that turned out did us more harm than good. I reckon other managers will look at that and think, naaah. Add that to the way we treated the bloke who we agreed terms with, whose name i cant remember(says it all!!) and we are not a team many decent proven mangers would want to touch with a barge pole imho.
Fonseca, and yep it really wasn't a good advert for the club.

Fonseca? Kicked him in the teeth when he went on holiday prior to joining us.

I'm not sure we should pay too much attention to the documentary

Levy's main office is at Lilywhite House not the training ground
Since the doco we have Paratici running the football side so I don’t think that argument is current. sorry.

the board determines the budget. The DoF determines how it’s spent. If the DoFwants to sack the manager he requests the board approval. I reallly doubt Levy has much ongoing say in the football side of things.

Whilst I certainly agree that we’ve acted like utter tools, I still think we’re a very attractive gig for loads of managers. Oddly enough, I think we’d have no problem attracting high profile names as Levy pays managers well and they couldn’t care less if they get sacked 12 months down the line; all part of the game.

We *will* struggle with the likes of Potter. A manager that wants to mould a club for a footballing generation, so to speak.

Our basic problem is that Levy wants us to act like a massive club, will pay mega manger wages, but wants nothing to do with massive transfer fees. At that point, he wants to use the academy and do it on the cheap. The two models are incompatible.

That said, reasonably confident that Rodgers will be our next manager.

Sack him? Not for me.

I just sit there and wonder where we’d be if we had kept Jose and won the Carabou and got in some signings that suited him and not bothered wasting our summer interviewing managers.

That whole Mason period was so small time and now this.
The ONE thing more unbearable than the current situation is to repeat the process.

Give him a season unless we end up on a catastrophic situation, let the signings gel (remember most of you cupped Pochs balls when he said they need two seasons) and let him deliver on his word.

I’ve heard that even a prime Pele or Haaland wouldn’t improve us, so hardly fair to sack Nuno after 6 games.

Yep. That's why i don't think we would be as a attractive option to others as we think. That's why i went with sticking with Nuno .I am far from convinced he is the man for the job, but chopping and changing ,especially to a caretaker, isn't the way out of this.
I also have this small hope it will work out, as i genuinely like Nuno.
I hoping that this is a good thing that our flaws are laid bare this early on.
Keep squeaking wins and the house comes crashing down later.

For ENIC, it’s not an option to sack him. This one HAS to work after the farcical summer.

The pressure will be on Nuno, just hope he has it in him to tell Levy to stay the fuck out of team business unless it’s signing a first choice player for whatever sum necessary
