He's a dead man walking now....

Nuno shouldn't have been given the job in the first place... but not his fault... i'd have taken the job for that money, but i'd also be shit at it!

He either needs to do the decent thing, and admit his limitations... or we need to do the decent thing, as a club, and admit our failings in hiring him in the first place!

....either way, it's a shit show!
As mentioned the majority of players in the squad Pochettino & Mourinho had and we’d issues then now if that two couldn’t get a tune out of them and get em over the line what chance has Nuno! + Kane and his spoilt brat entitlement attitude he’s up against it now I’m not defending him the style of play he’s adopted is eye bleeding and there’s no need Son, Moura & Gil are forwards that are on their day are exciting and can win games the squad needs overhauling one… with younger hungrier players two….players who want to be here.

Said it before. There's not one single manager on the planet that could get the current squad playing football.
Yesterday I found myself watching jermaine defoes top 5 goals for the club and I was longing for the days when we had him, lennon, Bale, ledders, vdv, walker, Scott Parker. The club didn't win anything but that squad played the way football supports want their team to play. There must have been a feel good factor at the club back then and it isn't there anymore
So Pep wouldn't do abything with these players? Klopp? Conte? Nuno is the issue.

To be honest I think the only good to come from all of this with Nuno is we know our starting 11 pretty much now and the players that really are deadwood, no questions. He just lacks any real attacking application as a coach for a top level team.

Ive screamed it since the last manager hunt Marcelo Gallardo is the type of manager we need. He plays attacking football and is a lot closer to Poch which is what really our fan base is crying for.

To say the team that started today another manager couldn't do anything with is naive at best

We have two of the best goalscorers around and out team didn't put in one shot the entire second half. Completely unacceptable.

We have some really quality players that we're not getting anywhere near enough from.

Nuno has to go

Not for me. Conte, ten Hag, Rodgers, Potter, Poch. We really should have been able to get 1 out of 5. If not i'd rather have seen Scott Parker than what we ended up with.

Conte would've been a mistake, IMO.

The way he operates is all wrong with our setup. And he's another short-term fix and big name like Jose who isn't necessarily suited to us as a club. He'd certainly have been way better than Nuno, but my preference was and is for someone in the mould of a ten Haag or Potter.

Galardo would/could be available in just over a month i think.

I dont disagree and wasnt overly keen when it looked likely but id rather a short term fix under Conte than limping through the season with Nuno.

He's not very animated on the touchline, is he? Always stands there looking the same. He reminds me of a Charles Bronson poster I've seen in a gym

We can agree on that. Personally I think we need a manager who is it on for the long haul, and to rip the entire squad up. Long, painful rebuild and transition to a new style is required. And it's going to need heavy investment to achieve it.

Even a manager such as Parker fit this mould far more than Nuno, who has clearly been appointed as a caretaker option, but is just a plaster over a gaping wound.

Luno was always going to a gamble but if we sack him the choice will be similar to the summer plus someone has to deal with the Kane issue.
And Patrichi needs to buy relevant to today not 2026 !

Trouble is if you keep Paratici you can't have Potter or Ten Hag because, as you point out, Paratici feels more comfortable with continental managers. Paratici is a hard worker and seems to be reasonable well regarded in the industry. Unfortunately his preferred style of play and manager doesn't seem to line up well with where Spurs are at right now. You can defend your way from the bottom of the table up to the middle of it but you can't move to the top four without having a coherent attack.
This is unconfirmed but has the ring of truth to me. Paratici felt like the wrong hire from the start. And I don't know how you fix this now. Hopefully a "continental" manager can be found who aligns with both Paratici and Levy/the Board.

I hear there may be one at PSG who could potentially be available in a year or two...
